Reporter: Why did you choose to fight counterfeiting in Jinan?

Wu Yun: I came to Jinan in 2004, and it has been more than two years now. Initially we wanted to set up a factory in the mainland, and we visited many places. When we arrived, we discovered that Songzhu had already been sold in Jinan, but they were not our products. Compared with other places, Jinan had the most counterfeit products of our brand. I felt that the problem was serious, so I gave up the idea of ??setting up a factory and started cracking down on counterfeiting.

Reporter: There are indeed many Shochiku cosmetics on the market. How can you prove that you are genuine? Who are the Shochiku dealers in the mainland authorized by Taiwanese companies?

Wu Yun: I can provide the trademark registration certificate with company seal, factory certificate for setting up a factory in Taiwan, and customs certificate for products entering the mainland.

Taiwan Songzhu Cosmetics has a history of more than 40 years. It currently does not have a factory in the mainland. I am the only distributor sent by a Taiwanese company.

Reporter: As far as you know, what is the situation of suspected counterfeit Songzhu brand products in Jinan?

Wu Yun: Songzhu Cosmetics is a product of Taiwan Industrial Co., Ltd. The product is called Songzhu Delilu, and the more famous one is "Yangbai Su". The company has registered the trademark of Songzhu Tuolilu in the Mainland.

Taiwan Industrial Society once signed a letter of authorization with a company called Jin Dehua, authorizing the company to represent the product "Yangbaisu". The authorization ended on March 1, 2006. This company has set up a factory in Guangzhou and is still buying our company’s “nourishing protein” and producing other cosmetics, but the other cosmetics are all branded with the Songzhu trademark. Therefore I think they are infringing.

At the same time, I also discovered pine and bamboo products produced by other manufacturers in the Jinan market. As far as I know, there are dozens of stores in Jinan selling counterfeit pine and bamboo. I have also worked with industrial and commercial personnel to crack down on counterfeit goods, but there are too many fakes, and the source of production has not been found, so it is difficult to crack down. Counterfeit goods give us a lot of headaches and are very harmful to consumers.

Reporter: Is there any way to distinguish between true and false pine and bamboo?

Wu Yun: The factory address and phone number are listed on Songzhu products. The factory is in Yilan, Taiwan. The phone number is 00886-3-93xxxxx. The front is the code of Taiwan, 3 is the code of Yilan, and 9 is Kangle Road where the factory is located. Code, except during breaks, there is someone to answer the phone at the factory at all times. And many counterfeit Songzhu phone numbers have all kinds of numbers. When called, the answering machine will be redirected to a certain number in the mainland, or the number may not exist at all.
