Is Mengdingshan tea good?
Let me start with an interesting thing. In the two books "Training Textbooks for Senior Tea Artists" and "Tea Ceremony", Mengding Mountain Tea was deliberately placed in the first chapter, just like the opening of a party. Can this prove that Mengdingshan tea is a good tea from the side?

Let's talk about another thing that needs attention. The real Mengdingshan tea is not low in overall price because of its limited output. The hilly area around Mengding Mountain also produces the same tea, which is what locals call "dam tea", which is much cheaper than the tea on the mountain. Although collectively referred to as Mengdingshan tea, the quality difference is quite big.

Finally, combining the fame and strength of Mengdingshan tea, let's talk about Mengdingshan tea.

First look at fame, Mengdingshan tea just responded to Zhang Ailing's famous saying: "Become famous early". Mengdingshan tea was a tribute tea as early as the Tang Dynasty, and was listed as the first tribute tea in the middle Tang Dynasty. There are countless poems about Mengding Mountain tea in history, but all tea lovers know that "the Yangtze River is full of water and Mengding Mountain serves tea". Bai Juyi, a poet, praised in his poem "Qin Tea": "Qin is the only stagnant water, so tea is the old Mengding Mountain". Lushui is an ancient famous song, and Bai Juyi compares it to Mengding tea. With the endorsement and platform of Wu Lizhen, the ancestor of tea planting, the status of Mengdingshan tea as a famous tea is even more difficult to shake.

Looking at the strength, the reason why Mengdingshan tea has a long-standing reputation is all because of its unique original ecological geographical location. The annual average temperature in Mengding Mountain is 14.5℃, with abundant annual precipitation and relative humidity of 85%. It is drizzling all the year round, and clouds diffuse scattered light, which is beneficial to nitrogen metabolism of tea trees and enriches tea contents. Mengdingshan tea is rich in components, with water extract as high as 43% and moderate tea polyphenols, about 26%-28%. The content of free amino acids per100g of dry tea is more than 5000mg, and vitamin C is about 202-259mg.

In addition, I have to mention the three musketeers in Mengding Mountain Tea: Mengding Gan Lu, Mengding Yellow Bud and Mengding Stone Flower.

Finally, the accurate description of Mengdingshan tea in Tea Ceremony is borrowed: "Although tea flies, the tea soup is still clear, the entrance is fresh and cool first, and then you can feel the delicate sweetness, and the soft aftertaste will last for a long time."
