Indirect infringement means that the actor did not commit any act controlled by the exclusive right to use copyright, but instigated, lured or helped others to commit direct infringement based on subjective fault. According to the definition, inducing infringement and helping infringement are two typical forms of indirect infringement.

Article 164 of the Civil Code, which came into effect on 202 1, regulates civil relations arising from infringement of civil rights and interests.
