Main functions of each branch:

( 1) Implement laws, regulations and policies in industrial and commercial administration, quality and technical supervision, intellectual property rights, food safety supervision and price supervision and inspection.

(2) Responsible for the registration, supervision and management of relevant market entities in the jurisdiction; investigate and punish unlicensed operations in accordance with the law.

(3) Responsible for the supervision and management of the commodity market in the jurisdiction, organize the investigation and punishment of illegal business activities in the commodity market; supervise and manage trade fairs in the jurisdiction.

(4) Responsible for the supervision and management of advertising activities in the jurisdiction, and investigate and deal with illegal advertising activities.

(5) Responsible for the supervision and management of direct selling enterprises and direct selling personnel in the jurisdiction and their direct selling activities, investigate and deal with pyramid schemes and illegal direct selling behaviors, and coordinate relevant departments to carry out joint actions to combat pyramid schemes.

(6) Investigate and deal with unfair competition within the jurisdiction.

(7) Responsible for the supervision and management of food safety in the jurisdiction. Responsible for food quality supervision, spot inspections and post-processing; accepting, approving, and issuing food circulation and catering service licenses, and cooperating with food production licensing work; responsible for special food safety rectification, food safety case investigation, and food safety emergencies response.

(8) Responsible for quality supervision and management within the jurisdiction. Implement the quality revitalization outline; undertake product quality supervision, spot inspections and post-processing; undertake daily supervision of the quality of hazardous chemical packaging, containers and daily chemicals in the production field; cooperate with the on-site review of industrial product production licenses and the investigation and handling of major quality accidents.

(9) Responsible for the supervision and management of quality management system certification certified enterprises and compulsory certification products in the jurisdiction, and investigate and deal with certification violations.

(10) Responsible for clear price marking of industries in the jurisdiction, and cooperate with market price warning and emergency response work.

(11) Responsible for the protection of consumer rights and interests in the jurisdiction. Establish a consumer rights protection system, handle consumer complaints and reports, and investigate and deal with illegal activities that infringe on consumers' legitimate rights and interests.

(12) Responsible for the administrative supervision and management of auctions, brokerage activities and contracts within the jurisdiction, and investigate and deal with illegal activities in auctions and contracts.

(13) Responsible for the measurement management work in the jurisdiction. Manage measuring instruments and verification personnel in accordance with the law; supervise market measurement activities; investigate and deal with illegal measurement activities.

(14) Responsible for the standardization management work in the jurisdiction. Handle enterprise standard filing and implementation standard registration, and undertake standard implementation supervision and code and barcode supervision and management.

(15) Responsible for the safety supervision of special equipment in the jurisdiction. Accept special equipment installation, modification, maintenance construction notifications and registration, decommissioning, scrapping, relocation, and cancellation business, carry out special equipment safety supervision and inspection, investigate and deal with special equipment illegal activities, and cooperate with the investigation and handling of special equipment safety accidents.

(16) Responsible for the protection and promotion of intellectual property rights in the jurisdiction. Implement the intellectual property strategy and assist in intellectual property assessment and identification and special fund application. Responsible for the management of trademark printing in the jurisdiction, the supervision and management of the intellectual property market, and the investigation and punishment of trademark (special signs) and copyright violations. Mediate intellectual property disputes in accordance with regulations.

(17) Investigate and punish illegal activities of manufacturing and selling counterfeit and shoddy goods in the jurisdiction.

(18) Undertake other tasks assigned by the Municipal Bureau and cooperate with the district government to carry out relevant work.
