Unless you accept the terms of this agreement, you have no right to download, install or use this software and its related services. Your download, installation or use will be deemed as acceptance of this agreement, and you agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement.
This agreement describes the legal agreement reached between Baidu and you on the download, license, installation, use, copying and related aspects of Baidu antivirus software (hereinafter referred to as "software" or "Baidu antivirus"). "User" or "you" refers to an individual or a single entity that obtains software licenses and/or software products through the way of obtaining software licenses provided by Baidu.
Baidu has the right to modify this agreement at any time according to the changes of relevant laws and regulations, the company's operating conditions, business strategy adjustment and software upgrade. The updated terms of the agreement will be published on Baidu Antivirus official website or this software, which will effectively replace the original terms of the agreement. Users can log on to the website or use the software to view the latest terms of the agreement at any time. If the user disagrees with the changes in the agreement, please stop using this software immediately. If the user continues to use this software, it will be regarded as accepting the change of this agreement.
Intellectual property statement
This software was developed by Baidu. All intellectual property rights of software, such as copyright, and all information related to software, including but not limited to: written expression and its combination, icons, decorations, charts, colors, interface design, layout framework, related data, printed materials or electronic documents, are protected by copyright law, international copyright treaties and other intellectual property laws and regulations.
Without Baidu's written consent, users shall not implement, utilize, transfer or allow any third party to implement, utilize or transfer the above intellectual property rights for any profit or non-profit purpose, and Baidu reserves the right to investigate the above unauthorized acts.
Scope of software authorization
Users can install, use, display and run this software on a single terminal device for non-commercial purposes. Users are not allowed to install, use or run this software for commercial operation, copy, change, modify, hook and run this software or the data released to the memory of any computer terminal during the operation of this software and the interactive data between the client and the server during the operation of this software, and are not allowed to create any derivative works, including but not limited to using plug-ins, plug-ins or unauthorized third-party tools/services to access this software and related systems.

This software is only applicable to the operating systems supported by official website.
The software can run automatically with the startup of the operating system, so as to provide all functional services at any time and reduce the response time.
Software replacement, modification and upgrade: Baidu reserves the right to provide you with replacement, modification and upgrade versions of this software at any time, as well as the right to charge fees for replacement, modification or upgrade. By default, users can use the upgrade prompt function. According to the different software versions used by users, Baidu provides users with the option of whether to enable this function. After the release of the new software, Baidu does not guarantee that the old software will continue to be available. Baidu reserves the right to unilaterally change or restrict some functions and effects of the software due to business development, and users should bear this risk.
This software includes real-time protection function. In order to prevent malicious software from invading the user's computer system and preventing the spread of computer viruses, this software will automatically delete virus files or lock virus files to prohibit them from running according to the user's settings when it detects computer viruses. Users can resume the automatic processing of virus files by "adding trust" or "restoring files".
The software provides a Do Not Disturb mode. When in do not disturb mode, the software will reduce the occupation of system resources, not display non-urgent pop-ups and delay the planned upgrade and scanning tasks, so that the user's ongoing games or other full-screen work will not be disturbed. Do not disturb mode can be entered manually by the user or automatically by the software according to the specific situation. Users can set the working mode of the Do Not Disturb mode in the Settings dialog box of the software. If the user chooses do not disturb mode, it means that the user agrees that when the software detects Trojan virus and malicious programs, it can automatically perform deletion, locking and other operations without notifying the user through the pop-up window.
The software has the function of automatically upgrading the virus feature database, so as to kill new malicious software for users in time. If the user does not need to automatically upgrade the signature database, it can be set in the upgrade settings of this software. The function module upgrade of this software is prompt upgrade. When prompted to upgrade, users can choose whether to upgrade or not. If the user does not need the function module upgrade prompt, it can be set in the upgrade settings of this software.
In order to improve the upgrade speed and bandwidth efficiency of users, this software upgrade module adopts P2P technology. P2P will generate data upload, which is the data of this software program module and feature library that users have downloaded, and the control information of P2P.
Any other software derived from this software that is not developed and released by Baidu or Baidu officially is illegal. All responsibilities caused by the user's violation of the law or this agreement shall be borne by the user, and have nothing to do with Baidu and its partners. Baidu and its partners have the right to demand compensation from users and immediately stop providing services to them.

Baidu Antivirus Cloud Security Plan: If users choose to join Baidu Antivirus Cloud Security Plan, when there are suspicious programs with virus characteristics or suspicious behaviors of programs in users' computers, the software will send the file fingerprints to Baidu Cloud Query Server to check the file security level, and upload the program files when they do not exist on the server. Only when the file has suspicious virus characteristics or suspicious behavior will it be uploaded. There is no sample of this program file in Baidu Cloud Query Server, and normal files will not be uploaded. Uploaded data and files do not contain any private information of users, and are only used for virus analysis purposes. Users can turn off related options in the "Settings" window of the software.
Legal liability and exemption
Users acknowledge that Baidu antivirus software will do its best to protect the privacy and integrity of users' computer resources and computer communication, but users acknowledge and agree that Baidu cannot provide any guarantee on this matter.
Baidu specially reminds users that in order to ensure the autonomy of the company's business development and adjustment, Baidu has the right to modify or interrupt the software license at any time. If necessary, the modification or interruption will be announced on the important page of Baidu website by notice.
Users agree to compensate Baidu, cooperative companies and affiliated companies for any third-party claims, demands or losses, including reasonable attorney fees, caused by users' violation of this agreement or related terms of service, and protect them from damage. In this regard, Baidu has the right to take measures including, but not limited to, interrupting the license, stopping providing services, restricting the use, and pursuing the law according to the nature of the user's behavior.
This software has been tested in detail, but it cannot be guaranteed to be completely compatible with all software and hardware systems, nor can it be guaranteed to be completely error-free. In case of incompatibility and software errors, users can call the technical support phone to report the situation to Baidu and seek technical support. If the compatibility problem cannot be solved, the user can delete the software.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, Baidu will not bear any damages and risks arising from the use or inability to use this software, including but not limited to direct or indirect personal injury, loss of business profits, transaction interruption, loss of business information or any other economic losses.
Baidu does not assume any responsibility for losses caused by telecommunication system or Internet network failure, computer failure, computer system problems or any other force majeure reasons.
If the user violates the provisions of this agreement and causes damage to Baidu, Baidu has the right to take measures including but not limited to interrupting the use license, stopping providing services, restricting the use, legal investigation and so on.
Other terms
If any provision of this agreement is invalid in part or in whole, it will not affect the validity of other provisions.
The interpretation, validity and dispute settlement of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of People's Republic of China (PRC). Any dispute between users and Baidu should be settled through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, the user hereby fully agrees to submit the dispute or dispute to the Haidian District People's Court in Beijing where Baidu is located.
This software belongs to Baidu, and Baidu reserves the right to interpret and modify this agreement.
