According to "Qi Ce of the Warring States Policy", in 284 BC, Yan attacked, but Jimo could not capture for a long time. Dr. Jimo died, and everyone promoted Tian Dan as a general, leading the people to defend the city and repel the enemy. The people rewarded the soldiers with mash wine to stimulate their fighting spirit. Tian Dan skillfully laid fire cows and broke the Yanjun army, and the people of the whole city celebrated the wine. The booze lasted for several days, which shows that there was wine at that time. Old wine is the earliest name of Jimo old wine. In the prosperous Tang Dynasty, people found that drinking mash wine had the effect of relaxing muscles and strengthening bones, so it was called "skull mash wine". After the Song Dynasty, Jimo old wine brewing has become a major local industry, commonly known as "old dry pressure". During the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, there were more than a dozen famous old pubs such as Longshengzhan in Jimo City. By the eighth year of the Republic of China (193 1), there were more than 500 famous old wine workshops such as Yuanxingtai, Quanshengxiang, Ju Yuan Zhan and Zhenyuan Pavilion, and the business of "old pubs" on both sides of Mohe River was particularly prosperous until the eve of liberation. Therefore, Jimo old wine is an ancient wine, a Chinese treasure and a veritable Chinese time-honored brand.
