Dr. Chen Shengying: Crossing Past Lives

The first chapter is a new field of psychotherapy: past life hypnosis.

I. Introduction

Since 1958, when the American Psychiatric Association accepted hypnosis as the orthodox psychotherapy method, psychiatrists who used hypnosis constantly met patients in different hypnotic states and described how they encountered terrible experiences in their previous lives. After they discovered these terrible experiences (that is, "trauma"), chronic diseases that could not be cured for many years, whether psychological or physical symptoms, suddenly recovered.

Therefore, it is a logical extension of psychoanalysis to add past life experience to Freud's psychoanalysis theory and find the initial psychological trauma of the disease. Because in many practical psychoanalytic cases, although their experiences in this life have been repeatedly analyzed for more than a hundred times, they still can't find the "initial" "trauma". Later, in hypnosis, they found a "primitive trauma" experience different from their life experience in some dreamy time and space. This kind of experience, which cannot be verified by the memory of this world, is often clearly identified as having happened decades, hundreds or even thousands or tens of thousands of years ago. This is the so-called "past life" experience. After finding such an experience, these patients who have been suffering from illness for many years are finally relieved under this new cognition.

After many such medical experiences, a group of psychiatrists and related hypnotherapists, after logical thinking, began to look for their original trauma in patients' "past lives", thus creating a new era of psychotherapy. In the past 30 years, these thoughtful pioneers have cultivated a new medical garden.

The achievements of these years are considerable, but they are inevitably met with indifference and doubts from all sides, because no one knows how to scientifically locate the concept of "past life".

Second, the theoretical basis

At the beginning of the twentieth century, when Freud's theory was not understood and psychiatry itself was still in a state of chaos, the so-called psychiatry was actually a very vague knowledge. Sullivan (H.S.Sullivan, note: he is the founder of interpersonal relationship theory, explaining personality development with the concept of interpersonal relationship and engaging in psychotherapy) said that psychiatry in that era was neither

Science is not art, but four unlike. It can be said that people were "ignorant" about all mental diseases at that time.

Looking back at the history of psychiatry and the methods used by psychiatrists to treat mental patients in the past, we can understand a vicissitudes of this science.

From the drill bit method in Neolithic Age, the head carving cross method in the Middle Ages, the hanging basket bloodletting method, to the modern lobectomy, although there are differences between primitive and scientific, their inhumanity and absurdity are exactly the same.

As for the method of burning fire, exorcism or confinement in medieval Europe, it was transformed into chains in 18 and 9 centuries, but in modern times it is iron gates, bars and personal restraints. Although it has evolved to be human, its intention of getting rid of or isolating patients has never changed.

Besides, Gordon's bright perfume room therapy, Arab alcohol beauty therapy, inexplicable heating sweating therapy and modern marathon group nude therapy are equally absurd.

Even the drug sleep therapy, insulin shock therapy and electroconvulsive therapy, which have been abandoned by the United States but are still used in Taiwan Province Province, are really unreasonable.

It was not until the recent forty years that psychotherapy became more and more popular that psychiatry became more effective and scientific. However, there are still many unknowns and unconfirmed or conjectures about pharmacology. Although these deficiencies are mostly compensated by rigorous statistical data, it is an indisputable fact that the efficacy of most drugs has not been affirmed by 100%.

Half a century before the development of drugs, Freud had affirmed the existence of the subconscious from the diagnosis and treatment process of mental patients and his own analysis, and also put forward his own rather rigorous and scientific psychoanalytic theory. This is the beginning of the first revolution of human consciousness and scientific psychiatry. However, what has always troubled Freud himself is that although he put forward the term "psychological energy" and made a logical and scientific exposition of this unmeasurable energy, he still could not know what "psychological energy" was all his life.

Freud was not lucky enough to see his theory prevail in his lifetime; People's understanding of his theory was after his death. After World War II, psychoanalysis prevailed in Europe and America. Psychiatry with psychoanalysis as the mainstream began to squeeze into the threshold of science.

Freud himself is a neuroscientist, and his views on diseases have always followed strict physical and chemical theories, hoping that all diseases can be explained by physics and chemistry; It was not until he came into contact with hysterical patients that he realized that the cause was a psychological self-defense response to unbearable trauma. After a person is severely injured, he will have a pathological reaction because of improper handling. This reaction will strengthen the formation of disease symptoms when he suffers similar trauma in the future. People can't be cured because they can't find the original trauma that has long been forgotten. Patients with this mental disorder have been filled with clinics and wards in hospitals of all sizes.

To cure such patients, psychoanalytically speaking, is to help patients effectively clean all wounds, especially the most primitive wounds.

According to Freud's traditional psychoanalysis, every patient who is analyzed may need at least dozens or even hundreds of treatments to find out what the original trauma is; Even after hundreds of times of analysis, there are still many failed examples that can't understand the original trauma. At the end of the 20th century, because hypnosis has been re-recognized, it should be a great event in the history of psychoanalysis to help patients find the cause by hypnosis in previous lives, and these diseases can be effectively cured after only three to five courses of treatment. Therefore, even if the concept of "past life" is difficult to be scientifically recognized, many people with a heart still tirelessly explore all aspects of this new therapy without fear or regret.

Third, the case

have a headache

A 30-year-old man suffered from explosive headache for more than ten years. There are some signs of this pain in advance. A fire gradually jumped up behind the patient's abdomen, reached the back of his head, could not be stopped, and then exploded. Every attack needs to sleep for several hours and take a few painkillers to calm down. This kind of headache can happen anytime and anywhere without any reason.

For more than ten years, he has traveled to the outpatient departments of various hospitals, but he can only relieve the pain and cannot be cured.

In hypnosis, he found himself once the city-state owner of Germany and Austria in Europe. He saw himself standing on the castle, watching the approaching forest fire, and spies rushed in to report that the territory had been destroyed by the fire. So he came down from the castle in frustration, climbed to the top of a fairly high observation deck, jumped into the air, landed first, cracked his head, and ended his life painfully. This kind of explosive headache is exactly the same as the present headache.

At another time, he was black. By chance, he cured a child's illness, aroused the suspicion of witch doctors, corrected the crowd, piled firewood and burned him to death. The pain of firewood burning from the back of the ass is similar to the burning feeling of life running up from the back of the abdomen.

The beginning of this life comes from a summer afternoon in high school. Because I played basketball too much, my whole body was hot, and I rushed to my shoulders and felt hot inside my head. I feel like I'm going to explode. From then on, his burning sensation and explosive headache began to attack, getting worse every year.

Obviously, the experience of high school really seduced two memories hidden in the subconscious-the pain of two previous lives, and at the same time linked these two pains, forming the symptoms of this life.

If we link these stories together, there is nothing to hide his reason, and we can deal with it effectively and convincingly at once.

After hypnosis, his trademark headache stopped immediately. After a month's follow-up, although he still has a slight headache, the severe pain that bothered him every day has disappeared. Follow-up for one year showed no signs of recurrence. The serious illness in 1989 was cured in one course of treatment.

Vertebral pain

She is about forty-three years old and is the head of a private company. From the beginning of being sensible, she has an inexplicable pain in her heart. She often feels that her heart has been pierced by a heavy instrument for no reason and has come and gone without a trace. For 40 years, I don't know how many doctors and experts I have found, but I can't end this pain. She also accepted that pain was a part of her life, so she didn't mention it when she came to me for hypnosis. After entering hypnosis, she saw that in a medieval European village, her hometown was invaded by foreigners and was extinct. At that time, she was still a child, running around in panic, and finally failed to escape the pursuer's horse and was shot in the heart, ending her naive life.

In hypnosis, the moment she was stabbed, she felt a sharp pain in her heart, which was like the pain she had known for forty years. Surprisingly, the pain never bothered her again.

epilepsy

His question is strange. Brother A Bing is twenty-one or two years old this year. He has never had a high fever, nor has he suffered head trauma or any major mental trauma. One night at 12 o'clock, after the shift guard, he suddenly had a seizure. Then it broke out intermittently. After all kinds of examinations and scans, everything turned out to be normal, but I continued to have attacks and even hurt myself during the attacks, so I continued to take medicine. Before he came to me for treatment, he had three or four seizures a year.

Ask why first. He said that there was no physical or mental abnormality on the day of the attack. However, before the attack, I don't know whether it was the same day or a few days ago. He once went to the field and saw an urn washed away by rain in the Woods. He touched it with his hand, but it broke when he touched it. He picked up the debris curiously and studied it, then walked away as if nothing had happened.

So I decided to take him to find out. During hypnosis, we went back to the scene where he saw the urn and asked him to pay attention to whether anything special happened. Suddenly, he realized that there was a man standing at the scene, dressed in black with a wired button, who seemed to be the owner of the ashes. The man wore a hat and a hoe on his shoulder, and his face was angry, as if to blame him: Show some respect, boy! But that's not the problem. The most important thing is that this accidental meeting actually triggered a feud between the two people in their previous lives. They are a pair of grandparents all their lives, one is a grandfather, and he himself is a grandson. He is a naughty boy, and often makes grandpa angry, scolds and even punishes him. This grandson once set fire to the house and burned his grandfather to death while he was sleeping.

This kind of contact is really special, obviously related to his epilepsy. I told him to discuss the solution with the old gentleman under hypnosis. After a period of discussion, the two finally reached an understanding that he had to complete some religious ceremonies and good deeds within a certain period of time.

Two months later, he completed these requirements, felt very comfortable and went back to the clinic to hypnotize again. When I went back to find the old man, I found that he was full of energy and vitality. It seems that the misunderstanding between the two people has been eliminated, which makes his life activities more free. Seeing this situation, he himself was relieved and mentally more relaxed and happy.

I called twice in half a year and a year, and there was no recurrence.

shake

From the age of eighteen, Su Zhen entered the society and worked in a company. The family doesn't think she is anything special, but she looks a little coy and weird. Not long after, her family found that she would twitch all over in her sleep and wake up with a bad headache. This phenomenon has been accompanied by her marriage, children and business for nearly 20 years, and has not changed. It's the same whether she takes medicine or not, so Su Zhen really wants to know why by hypnosis.

After entering the hypnotic state, you can obviously feel her intense inner struggle. When we went back to her first job, she said that she met a male colleague in the office and thought he was handsome. She had some feelings. She also felt that the male colleague was kind to her and secretly pleased. However, the other person is married. I don't know why, but I always feel disgusted and alienated from him, so that I feel uneasy facing him every day. Over time, I have formed a psychological contradiction: although I like him, my reason strongly rejects him. When I was hypnotized for the first time, I thought this was the crux of her problem, so I tried my best to dissolve her strong sense of "superego" in hypnosis, thinking that she could be cured.

I don't know. Her reaction was like smashing my sign! I got sick again that night. Fortunately, my family has not lost confidence in me, so I brought her here to continue exploring. In the second and third hypnosis, she saw that she had some strange past with this male colleague. She liked him for two lifetimes, but he married and raped her for one lifetime. In hypnosis, I have been trying to make her alleviate some difficult problems in love, such as loving married people as long as they don't cheat. On the spot, I realized that I had made a mistake in being a good teacher, but I continued to enjoy being a teacher. In fact, this practice is to reduce yourself to an unqualified psychotherapist, because a good psychotherapist should not affect patients' judgment of right and wrong, likes and dislikes, right and wrong. I hope she can resolve the inner conflict as soon as possible. Although her intention is good, her practice is unqualified.

However, her mood is much more relaxed, her life has become positive and her self-confidence has increased. On the surface, it seems much better. But it didn't take long before it broke out.

In the fourth link, I asked her to find more intersections between them. This time, she found out her love and hate for him in two previous lives, and also found an earlier past life. He is her mother. Once she accidentally fell down and hurt her neck while protecting her on a dangerous mountain road. This experience is the beginning of her ambivalence towards him. Knowing these processes, during hypnosis and after waking up, she can better understand why she is so contradictory to him that she can't start cutting or managing.

A good hypnotherapist should truly abide by the principles, not interfere with the patient's value system, and not take the initiative to tell the patient what to do; The responsibility of the therapist is only to bring the patient to know the truth, stimulate the patient's own wisdom, and make the patient believe that he has the ability to solve problems with his own wisdom. Therefore, a good therapist is neither a teacher nor a god, nor a friend, but a mirror.

melancholy

In Taiwan Province Province, two female students with excellent academic performance committed suicide by taking poison together in a hotel. Society is puzzled by their behavior. On review, it seems that the whole education system and society are ill, and they are all sorry.

In fact, this kind of thing is only a complicated problem for a few parties. As long as we pay due attention to their movements at ordinary times and take preventive measures as soon as possible, it can be stopped. What we are afraid of is turning a blind eye and not knowing how to guard against warnings. Here's an example. It's not too late to mend.

The protagonist of the story is Gao Feixia, a college student, whose grades have always been among the best, but since he transferred to another class and changed his environment, he gradually got depressed and hid in the house all day, even unwilling to take the exam. The family came to see her and thought she was in good condition, but she still reacted, just like fainting. Moreover, she always felt that life was meaningless and gloomy, thinking that it might be better to die, and she was unhappy no matter what her family said.
