"Cold Spring" is one of the famous landscapes in Taiyuan's history, one kilometer away from north university of china. It is also called "Eight Scenes of Taiyuan" related to "Fenhe Xidu, Twin Towers Lingxiao, Xunshui Smoke Wave, Rising Red Leaves, Shenbai in Earth Pond, Tianmen Snow and Mengshan xiao yue". Cold spring is located next to Doctor Dou Temple. The clear spring next to the temple gushed from the cliff of Lishi Mountain (also known as Erlong Mountain). Because of the low water temperature, it is called "cold spring". It complements the ancient temple of Cangbai, showing elegance. Now it has become a dry spring. Somehow, it looks sad!
