A registered trademark is protected by law and is limited by the time limit for the registrant to enjoy the exclusive right to it. After the expiration, the trademark right is no longer protected by law. The period of validity of a registered trademark is 10 years, counting from the date of approval of registration. Where it is necessary to continue to use a registered trademark after its expiration, it shall apply for renewal of registration within 6 months before its expiration; If no application is made during this period, a grace period of six months can be given. Where an application has not been filed at the expiration of the grace period, its registered trademark shall be cancelled. The validity period of each renewal registration is 10 year.

Trademark extension:

1. After the renewal application is approved, the Trademark Office will issue the renewal certificate to the applicant. If it is handled directly, it shall be mailed to the applicant according to the address filled in the application; Send it to the agency through the agency.

2. If the renewal application needs to be corrected, the Trademark Office will issue a Notice of Correction to the applicant, requiring the applicant to make corrections within a time limit. If the applicant fails to make corrections as required within the prescribed time limit, the Trademark Office has the right to reject the application for renewal.

If the renewal application is rejected, the Trademark Office will issue a notice of rejection.
