Seven tea cakes? Also known as round tea, it is a traditional famous tea produced by Menghai Tea Factory in Menghai County, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Lycium barbarum cake tea also belongs to pressed tea. It is named "Qizi cake tea" by pressing tea leaves into round cake tea with beautiful appearance and full moon shape, and then packaging every 7 cakes of tea leaves into 1 tube.

Qizi cake tea has a long history, which can be traced back to Zhou Wuwang period. "There is general tea in Bashu, which is round and named Qizi cake tea." According to "Huayang National Records", "Zhou Wuwang is actually a teacher of Bashu, and he accepts it." This is the earliest historical record of Qizi cake tea.

During the post-Three Kingdoms period, there was a saying that the marquis of Wu was a relic. During the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, E Ertai, Governor of Yunnan and Guizhou, set up a tea bureau in Yunnan to take charge of tea trade in Yunnan. E Ertai ordered the top Pu 'er tea in Yunnan tea garden to be purchased by the state, and selected first-class tea makers to refine it into cakes by hand, and a basket of seven cakes was called seven cake tea.

And personally supervised, printed "E Ertai" private treasure on tribute tea, and paid tribute to the court. In A.D. 1732, it was officially listed in the Book of Tea Classic Tribute, which is the earliest recorded history of tea tribute of Qizi cake.

This tea was rated as a high-quality product by the Ministry of Commerce in July 1983 and September 1987. 1983 65438+won the title of provincial excellent product in February; 1988 1 month won the provincial quality food award; 1988165438+10 won the "Golden Crane Cup" award of national high-quality health food; 1988 12 won the silver prize of Qizi cake tea in the first China Food Expo in Yu Lian. 1970 began to export to Hong Kong and Macao.
