The rice varieties bred by Helong Gong Mi are mid-late maturing indica rice varieties with similar characteristics, such as Xiangyi 2292 and Yixiangyou 673. After testing, most of the indexes of Helong Gong Mi exceed the first-class indexes of national standards, and contain many trace elements beneficial to human health, such as calcium, iron, zinc and selenium. Therefore, it is good for health and longevity to eat the rice cooked by Long Gong Mi. On July 17, 2008, it was approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China to implement the protection of national geographical indication products (Announcement No.80 (2008) of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine on approving the protection of geographical indication products of Suli in Qixian County, Gong Mi in Helong County, Ruixiang in Dayu County, Xiaomi in Ansai County and Wenxian Party). On June 5438+1October 65438+August, 2008, Helong Gong Mi Production Standardization Demonstration Zone was listed as the sixth batch of national agricultural standardization demonstration projects by China National Standards Committee (No.9, 2008), and the county had the first national agricultural standardization demonstration zone. Long Gong Mi was also included in the second batch of GAP pilot projects in China countries by China National Certification and Accreditation Administration and National Standards Committee, and was certified by GAP on June 22, 2008.
