2. Personal trademarks are personal property, and the trademark holder can decide the ownership of the trademark. If a company purchases a trademark and uses it, it must go through the trademark transfer procedures to avoid disputes in the future.

The trademark transfer process is as follows:

1. The following trademark transfer materials need to be prepared:

(1) Relevant supporting documents: The buyer company needs to provide a business license; The seller needs to provide personal ID.

(2) Original trademark registration certificate.

(3) "Transfer Application".

(4) If it is submitted by an entrusted agent, a "Power of Attorney" must be provided.

2. Submit the application materials to the Trademark Office: the Trademark Office will accept the application within 1-2 months (1-2 months), and then issue a "Trademark Transfer Acceptance Notice".

3. The Trademark Office will review the trademark transfer: it will take 4-6 months. When a trademark holder owns a similar trademark registered on the same kind of goods, or an identical or similar trademark registered on similar goods, it must be transferred together, otherwise the review will not pass. In addition, the Trademark Office will not approve transfers that are likely to cause confusion or have other adverse effects, and will notify the applicant in writing and explain the reasons.

4. Issue approval documents after passing the review: After the Trademark Office passes the review, there will be no new trademark registration certificate. It will publish an approval announcement and issue a "Certificate of Approval of Transfer of Registered Trademark". You need to contact the Trademark Office. The original trademark registration certificate shall be used together.
