It is said that in 2007, the production technology of Liu Jing vermicelli was rated as the first-class intangible cultural heritage of Pizhou City. In Liu Jing Village, fans are hung everywhere, in front of the house, in the fields and by the roadside.
Liu Jing's vermicelli processing has a history of hundreds of years. Every year 10, merchants from all over the world transport sweet potatoes here, and Liu Jingren begins to process sweet potato powder. When it froze in winter, I started making vermicelli for about two months. After the prepared vermicelli is naturally frozen at low temperature, it should be thawed in well water and then dried. It can be sold after natural air drying.
In 2004, Liu Jingcun established the Fan Marketing Association. Liu Jing brand fans passed the trademark registration of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce and were rated as pollution-free agricultural products by Jiangsu Quality Supervision Bureau. At present, Liu Jing vermicelli, as a well-known local product in Pizhou, has been exported to all directions, favored by consumers and enriched the pockets of villagers in Liu Jing village.
