Cai Village is located in the east of Dali Ancient City, Dali Town, Dali City, Yunnan Province, on the west bank of Erhai Lake. It has a coastline of more than 3 kilometers, a total population of more than 7,000 and an area of 3,250 mu of cultivated land. The Bai compatriots living here have been fishing for generations. The side of Cai village adjacent to Erhai Lake was transformed into Erhai Wetland Park by the government, and Cai village scenic spot was mainly formed by Erhai Wetland Park.

There are 37 passenger service households, land passenger service households 15, catering service households 12, flower growers12, characteristic tourist inns 6 and farmers 2. Nearly a thousand people are engaged in the tourism service industry, forming a one-stop service of eating, living and playing. Cyclists travel along the ancient city of Dali to Cai Village, which is one of the demonstration bases for the second pioneering work of Dali tourism.
