The Lanling wine produced in Lanling Town in the southwest of Cangshan County has a long history and is well-known in China. It is mentioned in Li Shizhen's "Compendium of Materia Medica" and some classical operas. As far back as the Tang Dynasty, Lanling wine was sold to famous cities such as Chang'an, Jiangning, and Qiantang. Li Bai, a famous poet at that time, wrote the following praise in "A Guest's Journey": "Lanling's fine wine is full of tulips, and the jade bowl contains amber light. But the host can make the guests drunk, and they don't know where they are in a foreign country." Lanling's fine wine has a naturally formed amber color. , crystal clear, mellow and delicious, with a long aftertaste. It can be aged in color, aroma and taste.
Lanling Fine Wine was produced in the Pacific Ocean in 1915. It contains 17 kinds of amino acids necessary for human life, including glutamic acid and alanine. Regular drinking has the functions of nourishing blood and kidneys, prolonging life and strengthening the body. It won the gold medal at the World Exposition, making it famous both at home and abroad. At the reception held during the Geneva International Conference, Premier Zhou entertained guests with Lanling fine wine and spoke highly of it, recording a glorious page in the history of the winemaking industry in Lanling Town, Cangshan County.
