When printing the clothing tag, the contents printed on the tag should have the following eight contents:

1. Name and address of the manufacturer

When designing the clothing tag, the name and address of the factory must be indicated, and the name and address of the factory must be registered in the industrial and commercial department. Imported clothing can only indicate the place of origin, but it must also indicate the name and address of the agent registered in China.

2. Product name

National standard names, such as "Men's Suit", should be preferred; If there are no provisions in the standard, names or common names that will not cause misunderstanding should be selected, such as "casual pants"; It is allowed to use "strange name" and "trademark name", but the normal name should be marked on the same part, which means that the printed clothing tag must have the above contents.

3. Size

Clothing specifications are required to be marked according to the new size standard, and the existing old size specifications such as "S, M, L, XL" are not allowed to be used alone, and the size should be marked according to the size (height) and type (chest circumference, waist circumference) of the human body; Considering the consumption habits of some consumers, it is still allowed to mark the old and new sizes at the same time, but the new size should come first. For example, the tops of men's suits can be marked as follows: 17/88a (m).

4. Fiber composition and content

Standard fiber names are required, and common names, scientific names and foreign words are not allowed on the clothing tag; As the fiber composition of different parts of a garment is different, it should be marked separately. For example, the fabric, filler and lining of a cotton jacket are pure wool, 1% polyester and 1 viscose in turn, and the correct label is pure wool, filler: 1% polyester and lining: 1% viscose.

5. Washing method

It is required that the method of washing and ironing clothes must be marked on the tag, and it is stipulated that the operation methods of five major items, such as washing, chlorine bleaching, ironing, dry cleaning and drying after washing, should be marked in turn to provide consumers with correct washing instructions.

the washing method should be represented by standard graphic symbols, and text descriptions corresponding to the graphic symbols can be added at the same time.

The five washing items should be marked according to the following regulations:

Washing: it should indicate whether it can be washed; If it can be washed, it should indicate what washing method is used (careful hand washing or washing by washing machine).

chlorine bleaching: it should be indicated whether chlorine bleach can be used for bleaching.

ironing: whether it can be ironed should be indicated; If ironing is possible, the ironing method (direct ironing, pad ironing, steam ironing, etc.) and ironing temperature should be indicated.

dry cleaning: whether it can be dry cleaned should be indicated; If it can be dry-cleaned, the type of dry cleaning agent should be indicated.

drying after washing: the drying method after washing (hanging to dry, drying in the shade, etc.) should be marked.

6. Product execution standard number

It is required to indicate the number of clothing execution standard, and clearly indicate to consumers the standards that clothing production and quality follow.

7. Product quality grade

Clothing tags are required to indicate the grade of clothing according to the standards, such as superior products and first-class products.

8. Product quality certificate

Clothing is required to have a certificate, which clearly indicates to consumers that the products have been inspected and cooperated.
