Beijing is a place full of vitality and vitality. It has a history of more than 3,000 years. Various ancient buildings have been left behind in Beijing, including the famous Forbidden City, the Great Wall, and the Temple of Heaven. It is a testimony and treasure of our Chinese civilization. Let me share with you a detailed guide to eating, drinking and having fun in Beijing.
As a Virgo who has always been organized, making travel plans is essential. I spent a week looking up guides on Baidu, looking for reasonable routes in books (I bought a book called "Beijing In-depth Tour" many years ago and used it this time), and looking for scenic spots on the Beijing transportation map. (Walnut dad brought it back from a business trip to Beijing a few years ago and I have collected it). I also read countless articles about Beijing travel on Dianping.com APP, and then spent two days making the itinerary (13 pages full) A4 paper, including recommended dishes of the hotel, walking routes, guide maps of various attractions, etc.). Finally, we consulted several friends living in Beijing to modify and improve our itinerary.
Travel Plan
Because I have to spend four or five days in Beijing, I have to bring a lot of things, so I have to make a detailed list of the items. But in fact, many things are not used, such as mosquito coils (there are no mosquitoes in Beijing this season), umbrellas (it didn’t rain in those days), and garbage bags (when shopping in Beijing, I saved a lot of bags and used them directly. Rubbish). There are also some things that you bring too much, such as paper towels, toilet paper, paper cups, etc.
Required items
At 9:13, the D2 train finally set off! By the way, the dining car provides two kinds of lunches, priced at 55 yuan and 60 yuan respectively. It feels like a large amount and tastes good. I ate one box myself, and Little Walnut and Walnut Dad ate another box (which shows how big my appetite is), but I didn’t have time to take photos.
At 14:03, the train arrived at Beijing Station. Imperial Capital, here we come!
After leaving Beijing Station, we walked a long way before getting into a taxi. At 15:00 in the afternoon, I finally checked into the hotel!
After resting for a while, I packed my luggage and went straight to the first stop - Tiananmen! Chang'an Street does not allow taxis to park, and the hotel is not far from Tiananmen. , so we walked there. Along the way, we saw several traffic officers under traffic lights, patrolling armed police soldiers, security guards on guard, etc. After entering the Tiananmen area, we had to go through two security checks - ID card inspection and backpack security inspection. I instantly felt that Beijing was so safe!
The crowded Tiananmen Square
The next stop was the famous Nanluogu Alley. On Chang'an Street, you can only travel by bus, so I asked the lady on duty at the bus station to take bus No. 5 and get off at Gulou. The ticket is 2 yuan, and children under 1.3 meters are free. After waiting for more than ten minutes, a car finally arrived. There were many people and it was quite crowded. Get on the bus through the middle door and get off at the front and rear doors. Walnut dad gave me 5 yuan, but the conductor said he wouldn’t give change. There are security guards at the three doors to assist with loading and unloading. The three of us were all sweating and finally got off the bus.
I was in a hurry and didn’t bring my travel plan or map, so I asked someone for directions and we started walking again. After passing through Yuer Hutong, I took a photo in front of Qi Baishi’s former residence. Little Walnut was hungry, so he bought a churros without ice cream on the way to dinner, and "annihilated" it with Dad Walnut.

p>I don’t know how long I walked before I arrived at the Old Beijing Zhajiang Noodles at No. 69, Fangzhuangchang Hutong, where I planned to go. When it was time to eat, there were not many people standing in line. After waiting for about ten minutes, it was our turn. The boss is very enthusiastic, arranges seats for customers, and acts as a waiter. He orders food, serves noodles, and collects money all by himself.
We ordered two portions of noodles (18 yuan each) and a bottle of Arctic Ocean soda (5 yuan a bottle). Walnut Dad did some research while eating and found out that most people knew about this store online. Only a father and daughter passed by this store while shopping in Nanluogu Lane.

Because I am so full from eating noodles, I can only eat it when I visit Nanluogu Alley. A Santa Karina rose ice cream (I chose a dragon fruit-flavored "pink rose" from the freezer, 35 yuan a piece, a little expensive, but the taste is good), Wen Yu in the plan I couldn't eat any more cheese and had to give up.

The small shops in Nanluogu Lane mostly sell Beijing specialties: Daoxiangcun, Quanjude, handicrafts, silk, silver jewelry, small commodities, etc. Most of the alleys were filled with foreign tourists shopping, and all I heard in my ears were foreign dialects. When we were about to leave Nanluogu Lane, we met a tourist group with many people wearing uniform hats.

On April 27, 2018, the second day of the trip, Walnut’s father went to attend training, and Xiao Walnut and I went to Tiananmen Square and Qianmen Street as planned. This time we walked through the underground passage to the opposite side of Tiananmen Square. Similarly, after passing two security checks, we walked into Tiananmen Square. I took photos under the national flag, in front of the Great Hall of the People, and under the Liberation Monument, and asked a soldier on guard for directions to Qianmen Street (the soldiers on guard at Tiananmen are not ordinary handsome men).

We walked out from the exit next to Chairman Mao Memorial Hall and turned right at the intersection , walked through the subway station and crossed the road, and arrived at the legendary Qianmen, which is Zhengyangmen.
You can buy tickets to visit the top of Zhengyang Gate. We had to go to Lao She Tea House in a hurry, so we didn’t go. Following the navigation, I finally found Lao She Teahouse (Qianmen). The simple decoration style makes me intoxicated.
The waiter said that the tea suitable for children is scented tea, so Xiaohuatou and I ordered two bowls of chrysanthemum tea (38 yuan a cup, unlimited water refills). The waiter also brought a plate of rock sugar and soaked it in The tea is very sweet! The plate with rock sugar is also very special!

After drinking tea, we went to visit the tea culture exhibition hall on the second floor, and also bought a box of Four Seasons Beijing Tea for Xiao Hetao’s grandfather. Gift box (188 yuan, four small cans for spring, summer, autumn and winter).

At lunchtime, we followed the navigation and turned east and west to an internet celebrity store in Beijing Square: Bureau Qi Beijing Tea House (Qianmen). The decoration style is old Beijing style, with pavilions, alley walls, paper with various trademarks, and even the plates have Beijing dialect.
In addition to chopsticks, tableware also includes hand sanitizer, dental floss, and chewing gum. We ordered the most popular Rabbit Mashed Potatoes (I don’t remember the price.
It is cold, and it also has Thousand Island Sauce in addition to the mashed potatoes), Braised Tofu with Chinese Cabbage (12 yuan, a bit oily , tastes average), Old Beijing yogurt (topped with honey and strawberry jam), crispy shrimp (with a layer of tomato sauce on the outside, very delicious), and two bowls of rice.
After the waiter served the Lord Rabbit mashed potatoes, he said to me: "You take a photo first, and then I will mix it for you." How considerate! After paying the bill, a manager came over to ask us. How was the meal? I said that the fried tofu with baby cabbage was a bit too heavy, but he carefully wrote it down in his notebook. I think this is why this restaurant is so popular.

After getting out of the situation, I started shopping at Beijing restaurants Qianmen Street! Many time-honored shops are on this street: Sheng Xifu Hat (Little Walnut picked a blue peaked hat here), Quanjude Roast Duck Qianmen (it is said that the Qianmen is the origin store of Quanjude), Zhang Yiyuan Tea Zhuang and Du are burning wheat and so on.
There are many interesting statues on the street, such as Empress Dowager Cixi looking at the elbow being served, Tong Shenghe's shoes, etc. We walked to the Madier Popsicle Shop and bought a vanilla-flavored popsicle (the popsicle also had the word Madiel on it). The milk flavor is very strong, the texture is soft and quite delicious.

Coming out of Qianmen Street, I saw a century-old Yili pastry shop. I bought three cans of Arctic soda and two kinds of bread, and then took a taxi back to the hotel to rest. In the evening, I went to Wangfujing Food Court with Dad Walnut for dinner, and then walked around Wangfujing Street in the night (on this street, Quanjude and Goubuli are face-to-face neighbors, haha) and Beijing Department Store ( There is a quite large toy store inside, with four floors, which is very enjoyable to browse).

Go to Wangfujing Street early in the morning in order to taste the authentic old Beijing breakfast. Huguosi Snacks Wangfujing Store is right next to Laobian Dumplings and opposite FamilyMart. We operate a variety of breakfasts: douzhi, soymilk, jiaohuan, donkey roll, pea yellow, noodles, sesame cakes, noodle tea
As a senior foodie, how can I let douzhier go! Decisively I ordered a bowl for myself, a bowl of soy milk for Little Walnut, and a portion of fried rings and a fried crunch box. The bean juice is so sour and refreshing that I really can't stand it.
But being smart like me, I went to the front desk and sprinkled some sugar on it, and it tasted much better. The burnt rings are sweet and crispy, which the kids like; the fried crunch boxes are a bit salty and have a strong oily taste, but they are quite delicious.
It is said that the name was given by Lafayette. Because it was delicious, he put it here and changed it to "Kie Zhi'er" as it was passed around.

After breakfast, it was not nine o'clock yet, so I went to the FamilyMart supermarket opposite, which had quite a full range of products. Then we walked to Wangfujing Street, looked at the handicrafts, bought some Beijing specialties, and then sat on a bench to rest. I remembered that yesterday when I had dinner in Juqi, the chewing gum given in the tableware was still in my bag, so I took it out and ate it with Xiaowalnut one by one. Just because he said one less word, this naughty kid swallowed the gum! I was so scared that I quickly asked him to spit it out a few times. Later, we remembered that I had swallowed chewing gum when I was a child, and after searching on Baidu, we were told that swallowing gum was not dangerous, so we felt relieved.
When the bell struck nine, we went to the supermarket on the first floor of Wangfujing Department Store. As soon as we arrived at the stairs, an old man greeted us warmly: "Children, come and buy candies!" I looked carefully and saw that it was a model worker counter! This old man was the son of model worker Zhang Binggui and his descendant - Zhang Chaohe. . We picked out a few chocolates for him, and the model worker was really different. He quickly calculated how much a pound of chocolate cost!

After shopping at Wangfujing Department Store, we Went to Beijing APM shopping mall again, tasted fresh taro seeds, and had lunch at my grandma’s house (I heard a very nice song at my grandma’s house, and when I searched online, I found it called “Grandma’s House”: “Green mountains and green waters are fragrant far away.”) , people traveling from north to south are unforgettable, grandma’s house is a good place, and we can share delicious food and laughter together”).
I visited Wangfujing Bookstore in the afternoon, bought two books that I planned to read on the train back to Shenyang, and then went back to the hotel to rest. I walked a lot in the past two days, and Little Walnut was tired. I went back to the hotel and slept for almost three hours before I got up.
Waiting for Walnut Dad to come back in the evening, we went to McDonald’s to eat a set meal together (the waiters in Beijing were so enthusiastic. When they saw us queuing up, they took the initiative to help us order food on our mobile phones, which was very efficient), and then we went as planned. Reached the World Trade Center level.
This is a place I have been thinking about going to since I watched the finale of the TV series "Li Chuntian's Spring". As soon as you get off the bus, the sky screen is full of advertisements and interactive activities. It is said that videos with content will start playing every half an hour. What we watched was about alien flying saucers. It's really exciting, and it's really tiring on the neck.

After coming out of World Trade Center Tianjie, I waited for more than half an hour but there was no taxi, and there was no one when I took a taxi with Didi. answer. Later, there was nothing he could do, so Walnut dad used Didi to call a special taxi, which arrived in five minutes. The driver said that drivers in Beijing pick jobs and don’t take jobs if they are too close. The special car was really comfortable to ride on! Although it cost ten yuan more, it was still worth it!
On April 29, 2018, the last day of the trip, we chose the Summer Palace. The sky was a bit foggy and the scenery was hazy, which was very interesting.

By the way, there are three reasons why I chose to visit the Summer Palace:
First, more than thirty years ago, a foreign friend visited Le Shou The teacher took a photo of me, but I pressed it under the glass;
Secondly, when I was a child, I listened to the song "Bridges in Beijing" and wanted to know what the "Seventeen-hole Bridge" in the song was. Like this;
Thirdly, Xiao Hetao’s Chinese text, Bing Xin’s “Only Selecting Children to Visit”, mentioned Yulantang and Zhichunting, and Xiao Hetao wanted to visit them.

After coming out of the Summer Palace, I still couldn’t get a taxi, Walnut Dad I called a special car and when I contacted them, they said it would take forty minutes to get there due to traffic jam. Cancel the order immediately and take the third sightseeing line instead (20 yuan per person, children under 1.3 meters are free). There were small tables, tour guides, TV clips, and attraction introductions. It was unexpectedly perfect! We had something to eat in the car, took photos of the attractions we passed, and soon arrived at Beihai Park.

From Beihai Park Station on the Third Sightseeing Line After getting off the car, we arrived at the east gate of Beihai Park within a short walk. After buying a ticket, I heard the familiar "Let's Swing the Oars" playing as soon as I entered the park gate. Listening to music, blowing the breeze, and looking at the numerous cruise ships on the sea, it is really pleasant!

Note:
Because I went to Buddha in the morning I climbed a lot of stairs before Xiangge. I was a little tired. Besides, it was already past four o'clock in the afternoon, so I only walked around Qionghua Island and didn't climb the White Tower. I just took a picture of the White Tower in the gap between the trees. spire.

After coming out of Beihai Park, I took the sightseeing line No. 2 and got off at the north intersection of Wangfujing Road. I went to the Beijing apm shopping mall again and wanted to eat some walnuts. Noodles, so I found a Taiwanese restaurant called "Du Xiaoyue" and ordered three portions of Danzi noodles. The portion was a bit small. I also added brown sugar osmanthus mochi and Xiaoyue blanched green vegetables. It tasted quite good. After dinner, I went to FamilyMart to buy some food for the return train tomorrow, and then returned to the hotel.
The hotel is not too far from Beijing Railway Station, we walked there. It was so hard for Dad Walnut to pull the suitcase! Interestingly, when we arrived at Beijing Station, we had to cross an overpass. The overpass had two entrances. We took the stairs from one of the entrances and found out that the other entrance was an elevator! Dad Walnut said he was very happy Helpless!
Before getting on the bus, I had a set meal at Mr. Li’s beef noodles, and then sat at the Yi Cup Tea drink bar in the ticket office and ordered two cups of tea and rested for a while (Xiao Qinggan 38 yuan a piece) Large cup, milk tea is 35 yuan for a large cup). At around 12 noon, Dad Walnut went to the door to find a "Little Red Riding Hood" baggage porter, paid 20 yuan, went to the express entrance to check in, and boarded the D11 train.
