Japanese trademark application process:

1. Application: In order to obtain the exclusive right to trademark, the applicant must fill in the forms specified by relevant laws and submit them to the Japan Patent Office.

2. Formal examination: The Japan Patent Office examines whether the submitted application documents meet the procedural and formal requirements. If the application documents do not meet the necessary requirements, they will be required to be revised.

3. Substantive examination: The Japan Patent Office examines whether the content of the submitted application meets the substantive requirements. Does not meet substantive requirements.

The following trademarks cannot be registered:

1. Trademarks that consumers cannot identify who sells goods or services;

2. Trademarks that may damage the public ***A trademark of order or good customs.

4. Approval of registration

If it is ultimately determined that there is no reason for rejection, the trademark registration will be approved.

5. Registration (pay registration fee)

After paying the registration fee, the trademark is registered and the trademark right begins to take effect.

6. Announcement

For trademark rights that have been registered and become effective, the Japan Patent Office will announce them in the Trademark Gazette. Anyone can object to an approved registered trademark.
