All kinds of cotton fabrics
1, pure cotton fabric
Pure cotton fabrics are made of pure cotton yarns. There are many kinds of fabrics and different colors. Pure cotton fabric is breathable, hygroscopic and comfortable to wear, but it has a prominent disadvantage-it is easy to wrinkle and deform after washing. According to dyeing methods, it can be divided into primary color cotton cloth, dyed cotton cloth, printed cotton cloth and yarn-dyed cotton cloth; According to the fabric structure, it can be divided into plain cloth, twill cloth and forged cloth.
2. Cotton blended and interwoven fabrics
The fabrics made of cotton blended with other fibers are collectively called cotton blended interwoven fabrics. This includes the combination of cotton and other natural fibers, as well as cotton and various chemical fibers. Usually, cotton and chemical fibers are combined into practical fabrics with various colors and advantages.
Extended data:
(1) Viscose fiber and fiber-rich cotton blended textiles generally use 33% cotton fiber and 67% viscose fiber or fiber-rich. This kind of fabric has the characteristics of wear resistance, higher strength than viscose fabric, better hygroscopicity than pure cotton fabric, less decline in wet strength and soft and smooth hand feel. The main varieties are viscose cotton fabric and fiber-rich cotton fabric.
⑵ Polyester-cotton fabrics are usually blended with 35% cotton and 65% polyester. This kind of fabric is mainly composed of high count yarn plain weave, which is mostly used in light shirt cloth, fine plain cloth, poplin and so on. Polyester cotton cloth is commonly known as "dacron"
It not only maintains the characteristics of high strength and good elastic recovery of polyester fiber, but also has the characteristics of strong hygroscopicity, easy dyeing, non-ironing and quick drying after washing. There are many varieties and specifications of polyester cotton cloth, including primary color cloth, colored cloth, printed cloth and colored cloth.
(3) Fibers made of vinylon and cotton. This fabric has good hygroscopicity and breathability. Because vinylon is resistant to salt water corrosion, it is suitable for making underwear, underwear, pajamas and so on. The disadvantage of vinylon is that the dyeing is not bright enough and the elasticity is poor. Its main varieties are yarn-dyed fabrics such as Weimian market cloth, Weimian plain cloth, Weimian fine cloth and Weimian plaid cloth.
