Both singles and doubles competitions adopt the best-of-three sets, each set is 11 points, and each ball is scored. If you reach 11 points, you win.
The team competition is a best-of-three game, each game is an event, and only one game is played. Each game is 11 points, and the goal is scored. The victory is determined by scoring 11 points.
Competition schedule:
The competition is divided into three stages: audition, regional competition, and Beijing finals.
The first stage: Audition: November 1st - January 15th
As the highlight of this event, the audition stage will be held in each province, city, autonomous region and industry. The Sports Association guarantees at least 1 to 2 grassroots auditions. The provincial "ball champion" determined through the auditions must be reviewed by the organizer to finally determine the qualifications to enter the regional competition.
Second stage: Competition area: January 20th - the end of March
Each provincial champion enters the eight competition areas across the country, and each area chooses a location to compete. The first place in each category of each division will advance to the Beijing finals. The program is based on competitions, interspersed with introductions to urban culture and sports and short films on the players' advancement path.
The third stage: Finals: April
The finals are the climax of the entire event. The "ball kings" of each division and group will gather in Beijing for the finals.
After nearly half a year of auditions and regional competitions, *** has radiated to 34 provincial administrative units across the country, covering people of all ages, men, women, and children, and has set off a national fitness craze in China. Highs and never lows. In the end, the top players from all regions will gather in Beijing to make friends with the ball. After three games of 8-4, semi-finals and finals, 12 national champions in six categories will be determined and ascend to the top of glory. CCTV5 sports channel will broadcast the semi-finals on April 4 and 5, and CCTV1 and CCTV5 will broadcast the finals at 20:05 on the evening of April 7.
After many rounds of competition, the national finals of the "Who is the King of Balls" badminton private competition concluded in Beijing on the evening of the 7th.
Athlete qualifications:
(1) All citizens of mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan can participate.
(2) Athletes who have ever registered with the Table Tennis and Badminton Management Center of the State Sports General Administration and the former National Sports Committee Association, or professional athletes who have been in the national team or provincial and municipal professional teams are not allowed to register for the competition. Professional athletes from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan teams are also not allowed to participate.
(3) Each athlete can only participate in one competition in each division.
