What if the trademark application for registration is rejected?
We have two ways to remedy the rejection of registered trademarks. One is to do a rejection review, and the other is to re-declare the revised plan. In fact, most of the reasons why a trademark registration is rejected are because it is similar to others or the trademark lacks distinctiveness. It is difficult to reject and review trademarks that lack distinctiveness. But if it is rejected because it is similar to another trademark, you can choose to do a rejection review and try to pull it back!
