A long time ago, there were no fragrant pears in Korla. Entrusted by the villagers, the father of Ahriman, a Uighur girl, introduced exotic pears from afar and grafted them with local pears. In order to let the villagers eat sweet and delicious pears, Elimane's father braved many difficulties, crossed the Gobi Desert of Shashan, turned 99 mountains eastward, went to 99 places, rode 99 donkeys to death, and went through hardships to attract 99 pear seedlings.

In order to prevent pear seedlings from drying up on the way, he hollowed out the seeds of "Kava" (Uyghur pumpkin) and put them inside to keep them moist. In this way, only one pear seedling was grafted and survived. The surviving pear tree is thriving and the pear is very delicate. It will break and turn silver when it touches the ground. The following spring, 99 fresh branches sprouted from the cut pear tree stump. In memory of Elimane and her father, villagers grafted 99 branches on each family's local pear tree. Although the newly grafted pear trees no longer bear treasures, the pears bear yellow, green, red and jewel-like fruits, which are not only sweet and juicy, but also have a strong aroma floating in the wind.

From then on, the villagers called the pear made of this pear tree cultivated by Elimane and her father "Naisput", which means fragrant pear, and introduced it to thousands of families along the Peacock River.
