In February 1950, the Wannan Branch of China Tea Company began to prepare for the construction of a large-scale new machine-made tea factory - Guichi Tea Factory in Chikou Village, Guichi County (now No. 33 Chikou Road, Chizhou City). The tea factory conducted a state-run inspection of five private Qihong old tea houses: Yaodu Street Tea House in Zhide County (the birthplace of Qihong), Tongchun Tea House, Ge Gong Tea House, Shidai County Qili Tea House and Hengchuandu Tea House. We have carried out cultural transformation, enriched our technical strength, purchased tea locally, and made Qihong by hand. In February 1951, all machines in Guichi Tea Factory were installed and debugged. On April 18, 1951, Guichi Tea Factory was officially put into operation and assumed the production and processing tasks in the main Qihong producing area. The trademark is "Runsi Brand", which means "Mao Zedong Thought". This is the earliest Qihong production enterprise established in New China. It undertakes the glorious mission of exchanging precious foreign exchange resources for the country. Most of its products are transported to the Shanghai port for export via the Yangtze River. The announcement of the establishment of Guichi Tea Factory marks that Keemun Black Tea, a long-standing national brand, has sounded the clarion call for advancement and rise, and has begun a magnificent journey. The vicissitudes of life have undergone tremendous changes in just one year, and the national tea has been glorious for sixty years. Staying at Chikou at the intersection of the Yangtze River and Qiupu River, at the junction of Dongzhi, Qimen and Shitai counties in the primeval forest of Guniujiang, the core production area of ??Qihong, the road is blue and blue, along the way, from the long history of tea making in China Moving towards modern industrial civilization, Guichi Tea Factory has grown into one of the most important black tea companies in China.
In 1984, Guichi Tea Factory became the only designated enterprise for self-operated export of Qihong in Anhui. All Qihong in the province was blended, processed and exported here. The product scale gradually expanded to nearly 10,000 tons per year, supporting Qihong. The country accounts for half of the country’s black tea production and export. In 1991, it was awarded the title of "Key Export Production Enterprise of Anhui Province". In 1993, the People's Government of Anhui Province awarded the title of "Excellent Food Production Enterprise". In 1997, Guichi Tea Factory was recognized as one of the first batch of leading agricultural industrialization enterprises in Anhui Province.
In 2003, the Guichi Tea Factory was restructured into Anhui Guorun Tea Co., Ltd. and continued to use the "Runsi" trademark. After the restructuring, Runsi Qihong adheres to its glorious tradition, makes full use of its original advantages, caters to the market, actively changes, and rapidly grows into a large-scale tea group integrating primary refining and processing, brand marketing, and international trade.
