It is understood that China National Intellectual Property Administration attaches great importance to the protection of intellectual property rights in the Winter Olympics and the Winter Paralympics, and continues to carry out special actions to crack down on malicious trademark registration. It has successively protected the "Beijing 222", the emblem of the Beijing 222 Winter Olympics and the emblem of the Beijing 222 Winter Paralympics, protected the trademark registration of "Ice Pier" and "Snow Rongrong" applied by the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, and applied for "Snow Rongrong" by other eligible entities.

However, since 219, a few enterprises and natural persons, for the purpose of seeking improper benefits, have maliciously registered the mascots and names of athletes of the Beijing 222 Winter Olympics and Paralympic Games, entrusted an agency to submit an application for trademark registration, illegally used the reputation of the Olympic Games and the Olympic Organizing Committee, and infringed on the name rights and other legitimate rights and interests of others, resulting in significant social adverse effects and damaging the good image of China's strict protection of intellectual property rights.
