How to apply for registration of a British trademark? What are the processes and materials?
The required materials are shown in the following figure:

1. Name and address of the applicant in Chinese and English.

2. Clear logo design

3. Goods and services

4. Application fee

Review-review includes formal review and substantive review.

Formal review, that is, review whether the application documents are complete, whether the trademark pattern is clear, and whether the category of goods or services is accurate.

In the substantive examination, the examiner should not only conduct a preliminary examination on the registrability of the applied trademark according to the relevant provisions of British law, but also conduct a conflict search on the prior rights.

Rejection and review-If the examiner thinks that the trademark is not registrable, he will reject the trademark application and list the corresponding reasons, and the applicant can give a reply within the prescribed time limit (6 months). If the applicant's reasons cannot be established, the trademark application will be formally rejected. At this time, the applicant can appeal through two channels, one is to appeal to the person designated by the Chief Justice, and the other is to appeal to the court.

Announcement and objection

-If the trademark fails to pass the examination, it shall be published in the trademark announcement for 3 months. Anyone can raise objections, state reasons and submit relevant evidence during the announcement period.

Approved registration-a trademark that can be registered after an objection ruling, or a trademark that has been announced without objection, shall be approved and registered, and a registration certificate shall be issued.

Limitation-After the registration of a trademark, the exclusive right to use the trademark is valid for ten years from the date of application and can be renewed once every ten years.
