1. What's the difference between green food and organic food?

1. The difference between green food and organic food:

(1) The basis and standards of organic food and green food are different. Organic food is planted and processed according to international organic agricultural production requirements and standards, and green food is produced and processed according to green food production standards;

(2) Organic food and green food have different production methods and principles. Organic food mainly focuses on the supervision and management of the production process, and I believe that a good production process will definitely lead to good products. On the other hand, green food emphasizes the prosecution of the products produced, thinking that good products can only be produced under good environment and technology;

(3) Organic food and green food have different requirements for production environment. The cultivation and production of organic food need to choose an environment with good water quality, good soil quality and no pollution. The planting environment of green food is not so strict, as long as there is no direct industrial pollution and the surrounding air environment meets the standard.

(4) The certification marks of organic food and green food are also different. Organic food labels are different in different countries and different certification bodies, while green food labels are unified and unique in China. It is a quality certification trademark registered by China Green Food Development Center in the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.

2. Legal basis: Article 9 of the Measures for the Administration of Green Food Labeling.

Products applying for green food labeling shall comply with the Food Safety Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Quality and Safety of Agricultural Products, within the scope approved by the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, and meet the following conditions:

(a) the environment of the product or raw material origin meets the environmental quality standards of the green food origin;

(two) the use of inputs such as pesticides, fertilizers, feed and veterinary drugs conforms to the guidelines for the use of green food inputs;

(3) The product quality meets the quality standard of green food products;

(4) Packaging, storage and transportation meet the standards of green food packaging, storage and transportation.

Second, how to apply for a green food certificate

1. The applicant fills in the Application Form for the Use of Green Food Signs in duplicate and submits it to the provincial green food management department.

2. The provincial green food management department entrusts an environmental monitoring agency that has passed the metrological certification at or above the provincial level to conduct environmental assessment on the origin of products or raw materials.

3. The provincial green food management department conducts a preliminary examination of the application materials and reports the qualified materials to China Green Food Development Center.

4. China Green Food Development Center will review the above materials together with authoritative environmental protection agencies. Qualified food monitoring institutions designated by China Green Food Development Center shall sample the declared products and conduct testing according to the quality and hygiene standards of green food; Those who do not meet the standards will not be admitted in that year.

5. China Green Food Development Center will conduct a comprehensive review of the products that have passed the quality and hygiene inspection, and sign an agreement on the use of green food marks with qualified applicants, and the Ministry of Agriculture will issue a certificate and number of green food marks; Reported to the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce for the record and announced to the public at the same time.
