Registration conditions for the Patent Agent Qualification Examination:

Chinese citizens who support the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China and meet the following conditions can register for the National Patent Agent Qualification Examination:

(1) Over 18 years old, with full capacity for civil conduct;

(2) Graduated from a science and engineering major in a college of higher education or with equivalent academic qualifications;

(3) Be familiar with patent law and related legal knowledge;

(4) Have been engaged in scientific and technological work or legal work for more than two years.

Graduation from science and engineering majors in colleges and universities refers to obtaining a nationally recognized college degree or above in science and engineering and obtaining a diploma.
