Trademark R actually means registered trademark. After successful trademark registration, you can mark R in the upper right corner of the trademark (as shown in the picture), or you can not mark it. It is not mandatory.

In other words, after the trademark has received the certificate, you can ask the artist to add the word R to the brand name in various promotional materials, product packaging, etc.
