Introduction of Sony Columbia Records Company

Tracing back to the history of Sony Music, the earliest Columbia record company was founded in 189, which belongs to CBS (NBC, ABC), one of the three major television networks in the United States, and is known as the three major record groups together with Polaroid and Bertelsmann in history. The company made the world's first 12-inch compact record in 1948, and set up a branch in London in 1965, becoming a record group across Europe and America. In 1989, Columbia Records was acquired and merged by Sony Consortium of Japan for $2 billion, and the original Columbia and CBS trademarks were abolished, and new Sony Music and Sony Classical trademarks were used to distribute records, becoming one of the five major record groups in the 2th century. Sony Records owns Columbia Records, Epic Records, Sony Classic, Leqacy Recording, Sony Nashville, Sony Wonder and many other brands.
