In addition to formalities such as trade qualifications, the registered business scope should also include rice business qualifications and have a health license. 2. Tariff rate:

1. Quota application
Since rice is a commodity subject to import tariff quota management (those who hold a "Tariff Quota Certificate" are subject to 1 import tariff, Otherwise, an import tariff of 65% will be levied). In November of each year, apply to the Ministry of Commerce for an import tariff quota certificate for the next year. The Ministry of Commerce will approve it based on the company's import situation in the previous year. The application materials that need to be submitted are as follows: A. Application form; B. Application report; C. Business license; D. External purchase order. 2. Trademark registration (Chinese registered trademark)
This job requires customers to apply by themselves, go to the local Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau to get the label review application form, and prepare the following materials: A. Enterprise business license;
B. Rice quality inspection and quarantine report (the imported rice samples need to be inspected by the General Administration of Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine and an inspection report is issued); C. Application report from domestic operating enterprises;
D. Copy and translation of the manufacturer's "Production License" (this certificate should be issued by the local official agency of the country of production);
E. Copy and translation of the manufacturer's "Health License" (this certificate should be Issued by the local official agency in the country of production);
F. Copy and translation of the manufacturer's "Rice Production Process" (only a simple description of the rice production process is required, and stamped with the company's seal or the person in charge) Signed);
G, Chinese trademark design sample (retain the foreign language displayed on the original front label, and there must be a corresponding translation on the Chinese label, and the Chinese product name font should be larger than the foreign product name The font must be Simplified Chinese. The sample must be in its original size and can be a color printout).
***Note: Chinese trademark samples (3 photos); original label and Chinese translation (3 photos each) ------ indicate the place of origin.
Prepare all the above information, apply for label filing to the local Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau two months before the goods arrive at the import port, report to the State Administration for approval through the local Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, and issue the "Imported Food, Cosmetics Label Registration Certificate", one type of rice corresponds to one trademark. If a brand of rice is applied for another trademark, the Chinese name of the rice must not be the same. 3. Import commodity inspection
The import procedures for rice are commodity inspection first and then customs declaration. If the commodity inspection fails, the goods will not be allowed to enter customs and will be returned. The information required for commodity inspection is as follows: A. Commodity inspection declaration form; B. Label filing certificate; C. Ingredient list; D. Chinese trademark sample; E. Original label and Chinese translation;
F. Copies of the "Health License" and "Business License" of domestic operating enterprises; G. Copies and translations of the "Health License" and "Production License" issued by the exporting country; H. "Health Immunization Certificate" issued by the exporting country , "Certificate of Origin", "Quality Guarantee" and translation; (Documents accompanying the goods, one certificate per batch) I. External procurement contract, invoice, packing list; J. Copy of import agency agreement;
K. If wooden packaging is used, the "Wood Packaging Fumigation Certificate" from the exporting country must be provided; the wooden packaging must have the "IPPC" logo and the bar code of the fumigation country.
The Commodity Inspection Bureau must check the goods in the port cargo supervision area: whether the packaging meets the standards, whether the Chinese registered trademark is complete, and the documents provided are reviewed. In addition, the goods must be randomly inspected. Inspect whether it complies with national imported food hygiene standards.
***Note: Rice to be imported should be labeled in Chinese in accordance with the "General Standard for Food Labeling" and relevant regulations.
4. Customs declaration
After completing the above work, you can declare to the customs at the place of import. To declare to the customs, you need to provide the following information:
A. Original factory Invoice; B. Packing list; C. Certificate of origin; D. Tariff quota certificate; E. Bill of lading; F. Cargo insurance policy; G. Commodity inspection and customs clearance form;
H. Payment for goods Price information such as remittance certificate; I. Copy of import agency agreement.
