The freezing of trademark rights refers to the behavior that the civil subject who has creditor's rights with the trademark registrant makes a request and provides a guarantee, and the people's court issues a notice of assistance to freeze the trademark ownership of the trademark registrant. During the period when the trademark right is frozen, the trademark owner shall not permit others to use his trademark, and the trademark licensing contract signed with others shall be invalid, and the licensing contract filing authority shall not file for review. The freezing period of registered trademark rights shall not exceed 6 months.

According to the relevant regulations, the freezing period of bank deposits and other funds, patent rights and registered trademark rights shall not exceed 6 months, the sealing up and seizure period of movable property shall not exceed 1 year, the freezing period of state-owned shares and social legal person shares of listed companies shall not exceed 1 year, and the sealing up and freezing period of other property rights shall not exceed 2 years.
