"Landrover" is translated as "Land Rover" in mainland China. When it was launched in China, it was discovered that the word "Land Rover" had been registered as a trademark, and "Landrover" was registered as "Land Rover" in China. Land Rover currently has three major product families: Range Rover series, Discovery series, and Defender series.

In 2003, the Land Rover brand established an office in China. In 2009, Land Rover has successively brought its 2010 Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Land Rover Discovery 4th Generation and Land Rover Freelander 2nd Generation into China. In March 2010, Land Rover Defender was launched in China. In 2017, Land Rover’s new Range Rover Velar was launched. In early 2018, Land Rover unveiled its new Range Rover Sport plug-in hybrid model, the P400e.

The top-of-the-range Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate is designed, developed and manufactured in the UK.
