What factors affect the printing quality of self-adhesive labels?

1. Pressure problem

Printing pressure has a great impact on printing quality. Maintaining uniform and constant printing pressure within the effective printing area not only makes the printed matter uniform ink color and small color difference, but also stabilizes the imprint size. Flatbed presses can achieve maximum printing pressure. However, due to the problem of manufacturing precision and flatness of the printing plate, and the impossibility of completely uniform thickness of the self-adhesive base material, the pressure is uneven, which affects the printing quality. One way to solve uneven pressure is to use padding to pad the lower part of the workbench where the pressure is low; the other is to appropriately reduce the hardness of the flexographic plate. However, there is a limit to reducing the hardness of the flexographic plate. If the hardness of the flexographic plate is too low, the geometric dimensions of the graphics and text will expand outward, making small fonts easily blurred. When printing on a large area, the problem of printing pressure is not easy to solve. To this end, we borrow the method used in hot stamping, that is, put a layer of silicone rubber plate with a 175-line mesh and a hardness of 90° on the workbench. , which can solve the problems of exhaust and insufficient local pressure. ?

2. Paste version

For small text, such as fonts below size 8, the spacing between fine lines is too small, and the ink often dries on top, causing the images and text to stick together and become indistinguishable. This is mainly because the ink dries too quickly. Our company is currently using resin offset ink produced by a Shenzhen Ink Co., Ltd. It has a high viscosity, and the temperature is high, so the ink dries quickly, and the printed products are very fine self-adhesive prints, so there are more dry plates. . If this happens, you must first find the problem with the flexible resin version itself. Generally, the bottom of the resin version of the font is required to have a smooth feel and should not be sticky. However, due to insufficient exposure, the bottom of the font is in a sticky state, and it is easy for the ink to stick to it. The ink accumulates and dries up in the thin lines. If it is discarded and not used, the plate material is wasted. At this time, the resin plate post-treatment liquid can be used. The post-treatment liquid contains sodium hypochlorite and hydrochloric acid, which can harden the bottom of the characters and eliminate the sticky problem. The most fundamental way is to find out the accurate exposure time and make a resin plate that meets the standards. If the fonts are particularly fine, it is recommended to use the copper-zinc version. The copper-zinc version is not easy to dry ink between the fonts, and the fonts are hard, making it easier to print clear strokes. In terms of operating environment, pay attention to reducing air
