Jiyanghu Ecological Park
Jiyanghu Ecological Tourism Zone is administratively owned by the Zhangjiagang Municipal Government, and is developed and constructed by Zhangjiagang Jiyanghu Development Co., Ltd. (state-owned enterprise). It is operated and managed by its wholly-owned subsidiary Jiyanghu Tourism Development Co., Ltd. The total planned area of ??the tourist area is 2 square kilometers, with a green space rate of over 90%, of which the water area of ??Jiyang Lake reaches 1,000 acres. The overall plan is designed by the American HILL Landscape Company, and the detailed control regulations are undertaken by Shanghai Tongji University. The overall planning and positioning of the scenic spot is: guided by ecological concepts, using ecological technology to build an ecological tourism area that integrates leisure, entertainment, tourism and vacation, is full of modern flavor, and embodies the characteristics of ecological gardens. Since the planning and construction began in 2001, the Holiday Plaza, Luozhou Island, Holiday Park, Mirror Lake, Waterfront Resort, Wetland, Happy World, Financial Street and other scenic spots have been opened to tourists. After more than ten years of development and construction , the tourist area has become one of the first choice destinations for ecological sightseeing, business leisure, and vacation in the Yangtze River Delta region, attracting middle- and high-level people from the Yangtze River Delta and East China regions and a large number of tourists from around the city.
Jiyang Lake Ecological Tourism Zone has received many honors in recent years, and has successively won the titles of "Jiangsu Province Environmental Education Base", "National Primary and Secondary School Environmental Education Social Practice Base", "National Water Conservancy Scenic Area", "Provincial Wetland" Park", "National Ecological Park (Pilot)", "National AAAA Scenic Area" and other titles. All major trademarks of "Jiyang Lake" have been registered and are currently applying for provincial famous brands and provincial famous trademarks.
