The origin of the village During the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, Zhang moved here from Xiaoyun, Shanxi. Later, Du moved from Xiao Yunnan, Shanxi Province to Baimiao Community in Jimo County, and then moved here. During the Yongle period of Ming Dynasty, Liu moved from Xiaoyun, Shanxi Province to Haidong Community and settled in the community of the meeting place. Liu, who lives in Xihuichang Natural Community, is a family with Liu of Liujiawozi Natural Community. During the reign of Daoguang in Qing Dynasty, other surnames moved in one after another. In the early years, community residents used oyster skins to burn ashes for building purposes, hence the name "ash factory", which gradually evolved into the word "venue".

Administrative population

Located in the northeast of Wanggezhuang Sub-district Office, it faces the sea in the east, with Xiaopenglai Mountain in the northeast, Wanggezhuang Community and Wangshankou Community in the south, Shamao Mountain in the west and Puli Community in the northwest. The whole community is peninsula-shaped. It consists of five natural communities: East Meeting Place, West Meeting Place, Shimengou, Liujiawozi and Beizuizi. In 2004, there were 568 households 1532 people in the community. There are surnames such as Du, Zhang, Liu, Zhu, Wang, Jiang, Liu and Liang. Among them, the surname Du accounts for 60% of the total population, and the surnames Zhang and Liu account for 35% of the total population.

Shamao Mountain, surrounded by the sea on three sides, is a peninsula with an area of about one square kilometer. There are two peaks on the peninsula, north and south. The northern peak is 84 meters above sea level, which is called "Little Penglai", and the southern peak is 5 1 meter above sea level, which is called Wanghai Building. Legend has it that the Eight Immortals have been to "Little Penglai". During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Zhou Rujin, Gong Sheng, Jimo, built Xia Ziting and Shifang on the flat land in front of Xiaopenglai Mountain. The words "Little Penglai" are engraved on the front forehead of Shifang Gate, and the words "Looking at the sea and sky" are engraved on the back denomination. The stone pillars on both sides are engraved with Li Bai's poem: "I often go to the East China Sea to eat Xia Zi", so the pavilion is named "Xia Ziting". In April of the thirty-ninth year of Qianlong (1774), Ji Xu, the governor of Shandong Province, visited Laoshan, saw a mirage, wrote about the sunrise of Laoshan and viewed the sea on Laoshan Road. There are many landscape stones in Xiaopenglai Mountain, such as Old Man Stone, Natural Monument, Ancestral Cave and Sunguan Stone, which is a good place for sightseeing. In front of the community is a natural fishing port, with the mouth of the bay facing south and flat sand bottom, which can dock fishing boats. Fishing boats in Puli and Wangshankou communities all stop here. The community is surrounded by mountains and seas, and the air is fresh. People standing on the novel and chic upstairs can overlook the green hills in the north and the blue sea in the south.

Sisyphus, a famous treasure of Laoshan Mountain, grows in the sand and mud in the low tide zone of the intertidal zone in the southeast of the residential area. It belongs to mollusk, Lamellibranchia, Geckiaceae. Its meat is delicious. It is regarded as a famous local dish with high medicinal value, and its meat and shell can be used as medicine. Portunus trituberculatus, which grows from this community in the rocky waters of Nagato, is called "Portunus Crab Farm". Because the sea area is rich in nutrients and marine plankton, the "indoor swimming crab" has the characteristics of strong body, bright color and delicious taste. In July, 2002, "Swimming Crab in the Meeting Place" was registered by the State Trademark Office.

Economic Status The community economy was originally a combination of agriculture and fishery, including sea fishing and kelp culture. Agriculture mainly produces wheat, corn, sweet potatoes and peanuts. Industry and sideline include mink breeding, carpet processing and plastic processing. At present, fishing, breeding and growing tea at sea are the main ways. Shrimp pond 100 mu, sea cucumber 30 mu, seashell culture 60 mu and tea 80 mu. The community introduced the foreign investment "rooftop drinking music" project to build an enterprise integrating printing, mountain vegetable processing and seafood processing, and the economy has developed greatly. In 2004, the total income of community economy was 9 1 10,000 yuan, and the per capita income was 5,502 yuan.

Social undertakings have a tradition of acting. 1963 The opera "Forced to Liangshan" was written and performed by myself, and more than 30 operas have been performed successively, among which the scripts of two plays "Blood feud" and "Forced to Liangshan" are still collected by Qingdao Mass Art Museum. Invest in the construction of fishery and tourism dual-purpose wharf and Pingtang, introduce the water from Wangxiao Reservoir into the community, and provide tap water for community residents free of charge. Built a 2000-meter-long, 18-meter-wide road into the community, and built a well-equipped community kindergarten, which was rated as the first-class kindergarten in the city.
