Guandong cooking is a Japanese favorite snack, whose real name is Yutian, and it is a kind of cuisine originated from kanto region, Japan. Usually the materials are eggs, radishes, potatoes, kelp, konjac, fish balls, bamboo wheels (fish products) and so on. Each of these materials is put into an iron griddle (box) which is not connected with each other, and simmered with the broth made of kelp and mullet flowers.
You can eat it as a meal or as a snack. It is said that Guandong cooking originated from "Miso Dengaku", that is, tofu or oysters are cooked with water and then seasoned with miso (noodles and black beans) before eating. Later, I replaced miso with bonito soup, and Guandong cooking was carried forward.
Introduce China:
At the end of last century, Japanese convenience store Rosen introduced Guandong Boiling to Chinese mainland for the first time and named it "Boiling Point". Soon, 7-ELEVEn, a retail giant, also brought Guandong Cook to the street and called it "good stew". These two coveted translations both come from the pronunciation of "Oden" in Japanese.
Some people think that Guandong cooking originated from the hot pot in the northeast of China, and later spread to kanto region. Because of its clear soup cooking method, its taste is unique and unique. In fact, the earliest mixed miso cooked in Guandong, Japan, was noodles from the northeast, and the Japanese used bonito soup instead of noodles, which led to the later Guandong cooking. So from the origin, the northeast of China is the source of Guandong cooking.
