Expansion: The Administration for Industry and Commerce is the government department in charge of market supervision and administrative law enforcement. According to the Notice of the State Council on Organization Establishment, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce is directly affiliated to the State Council.
The main responsibilities of the Trade and Industry Bureau:
(a) responsible for market supervision and administrative law enforcement, drafting relevant laws and regulations, and formulating industrial and commercial administrative rules and policies.
(2) To be responsible for the registration, supervision and management of various enterprises, farmers' professional cooperatives, units and individuals engaged in business activities, resident representative offices of foreign (regional) enterprises and other market entities, and undertake the responsibility of investigating and banning unlicensed operations according to law.
