1. Before opening a Douyin self-media account, you need to download the Douyin APP in the app store and register a Douyin account. During the registration process, you need to provide your mobile phone number for verification to ensure the authenticity and security of your account.

2. After completing the registration, personal information needs to be set. Click the "Me" button in the lower right corner to enter the personal page, and then click "Edit Information" to fill in personal information. Remember to introduce your creative content and expertise concisely and clearly in the "Introduction" to attract more fans' attention.

3. On the homepage of Douyin APP, click the "Me" button in the lower right corner to enter the personal page. Then click the "three dots" icon in the upper right corner, select the "Settings" option, and then click the "Account Management" button. On the account management page, select the "Apply to become a self-media account" option, and then follow the prompts to apply.

4. On the self-media account application page, detailed application information needs to be filled in, including ID information, contact information, creative content description, etc. Make sure to fill in the form accurately and truthfully, and upload a clear photo of your ID card.

5. After filling in the self-media application materials, click the "Submit" button to submit the application materials to Douyin officials for review. Please be patient and wait for the review results. Usually, Douyin will review it within a week.
