Icelandic Pu 'er tea is named after Pu 'er tea collected in Laozhai, Iceland.

Iceland belongs to the cottage that produces ancient tea in Mengku Town, Shuangjiang County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province. Originally called side road and soldier road. Later, because the ancient tea it produced had a particularly sweet rock sugar, it was gradually called Iceland. Its tea is named after the place name, and the tea tree is old and sprouting, with excellent quality. Therefore, iceland tea, known as the "queen" of Yunnan Pu 'er, has the core characteristics of sweet rock sugar.

The origin of iceland tea's name is related to the Dai nationality. There is a famous Bangma Snow Mountain in Mengku, Lincang, Yunnan. Halfway up the hill in the northern section of Bangma Mountain, there is an ancient Dai village, namely the old village of Iceland, which is called "Ping Island" or "C Island" in Dai language, and most Pu 'er tea products are named after place names. Therefore, Pu 'er tea collected in the old village of Iceland was named iceland tea.

Icelandic Pu 'er tea refers to the finished product made by carefully selecting new leaves of Yunnan big leaf species from Iceland village and through a series of processes such as spreading, drying, rolling, drying, autoclaving and drying. The ancient tea trees in Iceland village belong to sexual system, arbor type, big leaf type and early growth type. It is 1984, the first national fine variety recognized in China. Rich and sweet, it is an excellent variety for processing Pu 'er tea.
