What should you pay attention to when using a water-based laminating machine?

1. Powder spraying of printed matter: Water-based glue itself is also limited by solubility. If the printed matter is too powder-sprayed, the excess cannot be completely dissolved by the glue, and large areas of snowflakes will appear. This problem can be solved by coordinating the upper and lower processes and minimizing the amount of powder spray during printing. At the same time, increase the amount of glue appropriately to increase the ability of the glue to dissolve the powder, and clean the surface of the printed matter with suspended powder before mounting.

2. Discoloration of printed matter: It mainly occurs in large-area printing and hot stamping products. This is due to the chemical reaction between the chemically active elements in the glue and the gold powder. If you encounter this problem, we can use special gold ink or special glue for gold printing products, or mount them first and then hot stamp them, and the effect is also very good.

3. Cleaning problem: Since water-based environmentally friendly glue dries very quickly, it will dry into a solid block if it is still and does not flow. If it is attached to the rubber coating roller or pressure roller, it will cause the local glue to be too small or the local pressure to be too large when applying pressure. Therefore, keep the rubber roller and pressure roller clean during the laminating process. If there is too much dust in the environment around the laminating machine, snowflakes will appear on the printed matter, so you should pay attention to environmental hygiene. If the glue is not used up, return it to the glue bucket and seal it, or filter it before gluing.

4. Product deformation: There are several reasons for this situation:

1. The amount of glue is too large, because the large amount of glue will inevitably cause the paper to absorb a lot of water, and the paper will absorb a lot of water. It will deform when absorbing water;

2. The film is stretched and deformed seriously. At this time, the tension of the film should be adjusted appropriately. As long as the film can be smooth and attached to the paper, the smaller the tension, the better;

3. The winding tension is too high. Under the premise of ensuring that the product can be wound onto the roller after lamination, the smaller the winding tension, the better;

4. Film The temperature and humidity differences in the external environment are too large.

5. Paper-plastic detachment: This phenomenon is easy to occur in full-page printed matter. Because the surface ink layer is thick, the glue is difficult to wet, spread, and penetrate, and the bonding is not strong. We can use the following solutions:

1. For this kind of product, use glue with a large solid content;

2. Increase the thickness of the glue layer appropriately;

< p> 3. Increase the external temperature during lamination and product drying;

4. Check whether the glue has deteriorated;

5. Check whether the corona treatment of the film has failed.
