Its therapeutic effect is manifested in the following two aspects: 1. Diuresis: Both acute and chronic nephritis have diuretic effects to varying degrees after taking the medicine. The diuretic effect appears 2 to 3 days after taking the drug and continues to be a diuretic effect. Significant diuresis is more common in the renal degeneration stage of nephritis, and in cases with good physical constitution but partial to damp-heat type, the effect on nephrotic syndrome is poor. Secondary anti-infection: It was clinically observed that patients with Proteus infection who had not been treated with streptomycin were treated with Gewang orally for 3 weeks and had sterile growth in two consecutive mid-section urine cultures; it was also effective against Staphylococcus albus infection.
