The School of Political Science and Law and the School of Intellectual Property began enrolling students in 1978, with a history of more than 40 years. They have grown and developed in the spirit of reform and opening up.
After decades of development, the conditions for running schools in the School of Political Science and Law and the School of Intellectual Property have been continuously improved. The reference room now has 11,700 professional books and materials.
The college currently has 55 faculty members, including 3 professors, 10 associate professors, and 17 teachers with doctorate degrees. The college has hired Professor Cheng Xinhe of Sun Yat-sen University as its honorary dean, and also hired more than 50 part-time teachers from brother universities, public security, law enforcement, education, lawyer industry, and enterprises.
The college currently has four undergraduate majors: ideological and political education, law, administration, and intellectual property, with about 1,200 full-time students.
