At present, the two trademarks of Weilifang Pepper and Huoshaoping have been registered successfully. The peppers produced by four cooperatives or companies, including Changyang Xiulong Vegetable Cooperative and Yichang Bachu Vegetable Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd., have obtained the national A-level green food certification, with a planting area of 347hm2 and a total output of 22,300 t. The products are exported to Nanjing, Yichang and other places.
