1. To apply for trademark registration in the name of an enterprise, a copy of the business license of the enterprise or a copy of the business license signed by the issuing authority shall be submitted. (In case of applying for trademark registration in the name of a natural person, refer to the relevant specific provisions.)
The following documents shall also be submitted when applying for trademark registration for certain special industries or special commodities for which the state requires the registration of trademarks:
(1) Where an applicant registers a trademark of a drug, a medical nutritious food, a medical nutritious beverage or a baby food, it shall attach a certificate issued by the administrative department of health, that is, a Pharmaceutical Production License or a Pharmaceutical Business License; Pharmaceutical production and trading enterprises that have not obtained the above two certificates may also apply for trademark registration with the approval documents issued by the administrative department of health agreeing to start pharmaceutical production and trading enterprises; Where an applicant uses a disinfectant trademark for registration, it shall be accompanied by a certificate from the health and epidemic prevention department. When applying, foreign applicants must also submit the corresponding certification documents issued by the health administrative department of the country to which they belong.
(2) Submit applications for trademark registration of cigarettes, cigars and packaged cut tobacco. Certificate of approval of production by the State Tobacco Administration shall be attached.
(3) Where the name of a newspaper or magazine is applied for registration as a trademark, a newspaper registration certificate with a national uniform serial number ("CN") issued by the Press and Publication Administration (bureau) shall be submitted.

Article 22 An applicant for trademark registration shall fill in the category and name of the goods using the trademark in accordance with the prescribed commodity classification table and apply for registration.
An applicant for trademark registration may apply for the registration of the same trademark for many kinds of goods through one application.
