Gateway (Chinese trademark: Gateway): Founded in the United States in 1985, Gateway was acquired by Acer Inc. in October 2007. After the acquisition, it became the third largest PC company in the world.
eMachines (no longer in operation): a computer brand founded in the United States at the end of the last century. In January 2004, eMachines was acquired by Gateway for US$264 million. In August 2007, Acer acquired Gateway, so eMachines was included in the Owned by Acer.
Packard Bell: The company is headquartered in the Netherlands. It is the fourth largest desktop seller and the sixth largest notebook computer seller in Western Europe. In 2007, Packard Bell, the third largest PC manufacturer in Europe, was acquired by Acer for 3100 yuan. Acquired for 10,000 euros (approximately 45.8 million U.S. dollars).
Predator: Acer's sub-brand for e-sports products. With the core concept of "Conquer New Worlds", it launches the "Predator" series of products specially designed for e-sports. This series of products includes gaming desktops, laptops, curved monitors, tablets, etc. The overall image of the "Predator" series is a black appearance with red color matching and various sharp triangle angles, showing the power and tough guy style of e-sports players, presenting a very technological and futuristic style.
