There is no age limit for obtaining a business license, and citizens who have the ability to operate are registered by the administrative department for industry and commerce and engaged in industrial and commercial operations, which are individual industrial and commercial households. Anyone who has full capacity for civil conduct can become the legal representative of the enterprise after being registered according to law. People with full capacity for civil conduct include people who have reached the age of 18, but there is no upper age limit stipulated by law.

Business license A company established according to law shall be issued with a business license by the company registration authority. The date of issuance of the business license of the company is the date of establishment of the company. The company's business license shall specify the company's name, domicile, registered capital, business scope, name of legal representative and other matters. Where the matters recorded in the company's business license change, the company shall register the change according to law, and the company registration authority shall issue a new business license. Without a business license, industrial and commercial enterprises or individual operators are not allowed to start business, engrave official seals, sign contracts, register trademarks or advertise, and banks are not allowed to open accounts.

Where the state stipulates that operators need to meet certain conditions or obtain approval from the competent department of industry, they shall submit relevant approval documents when applying for registration.

Applications for hotel business, lettering business, trust consignment business and printing business shall be examined and approved by the local public security organs.
