Trademark review is also called book review.
It means that the Trademark Office examines the application materials after receiving the application for trademark registration, which mainly includes the following contents: examining the qualifications of the applicant for trademark registration and whether he has the right to apply for trademark registration; Whether the conditions for examining the application for trademark registration meet the requirements of the Trademark Law and the Regulations for the Implementation of the Trademark Law; Examining whether the application for trademark registration meets the prescribed conditions; Examining whether the classification of goods or services is accurate and whether it meets the requirements for applying for trademarks, goods or services; Review whether the application for trademark registration has been entrusted by an agency, whether the power of attorney meets the specified requirements, and whether the trademark pattern is clear.
Legal basis: Article 28 of the Trademark Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Trademark Office shall complete the examination of the trademark applied for registration within nine months from the date of receiving the application documents for trademark registration. If it meets the relevant provisions of this Law, it shall make a preliminary examination and make an announcement.
