A registered trademark refers to a trademark approved and registered by the trademark administration authority according to law. The registration of a trademark must meet the statutory conditions and go through legal procedures. In countries that implement the trademark registration system, after the successful registration of a trademark, the registrant enjoys the exclusive right to use the registered trademark and the prohibition right to exclude others from using the same or similar trademark on the same or similar goods.
Trademark registration should meet four conditions: legality, distinctiveness, nonfunctional and not conflicting with others' prior rights. The application for trademark registration shall be filled in according to the published classification table of goods and services.
