Speaking of "Eight Scenes of Fengcheng", we can't help but mention "Eight Scenes of Shunde". The earliest comment on "Eight" was in the Kangxi period.
At that time, who evaluated the "Eight Scenes of Shunde" and what kind of procedures it was, there is no record to test now. The "Eight Scenes of Shunde" evaluated during the Kangxi period has three places in Daliang, and the number of people in this Fengcheng should be satisfactory, which also conforms to the historical position of Daliang as a central city (county). Hundreds of years have passed, and the clock of history points to the Tongzhi period. The "Eight Scenes of Fengcheng" rated by Fengcheng people themselves certainly include three scenic spots in Fengcheng: Zhao Hui in Fengling, jathyapple in Jin Yan and Song Feng in Yunlu. So strictly speaking, this real evaluation should be five scenarios.
1. Fengling Zhao Hui
Fengcheng is located in the west of Guxian County.
After liberation, the local government often led cadres and the masses to plant trees in Fengling. After nearly half a century of operation, Fengling is now lush. With the advancement of Fengcheng construction and the increase of the number of residents, the original scale of Fengling can no longer meet people's needs, which lays the foundation for the new construction and expansion of Fengling Park. After its completion, Fengling Park has become an important scenic spot in Daliang. It may be more than a coincidence that the name of the bronze sculpture embedded in Dongshan Mountain in Fengling Park is "Fengling Zhao Hui".
2. Jin Yan jathyapple

There used to be two big lakes in the north gate of Fengcheng, with a hill in the middle, lush bamboo around it, and a little prosperity in the middle. The lake is clear and beautiful. At that time, the small fishing village, the scene of "watching the stone lake at night", has now become a bustling business district.
7. Build Jiang Jingdu
Bijian River in the southwest of the original county, formerly known as Jianjiang, is now Daliang River. Every Dragon Boat Festival, dragon boats from all directions gather here to race across the river. At this time, on the Fu Bo Bridge, there are a sea of people on both sides, which is very spectacular. In the early days of liberation, the "Jianjiang Competition" once reached its climax, but later it gradually declined for various reasons. Only a few dragon boats race on the Daliang River during the Dragon Boat Festival every year. In recent years, due to the construction of several short bridges on the Daliang River, the dragon boat race has gradually moved away from people. I really don't know when the grand occasion of that year will reappear.
8. Guipan Fishing Songs
Today's Guipan Sea is a good place for leisure life, but in the Qing Dynasty, the water surface here was wider and there were countless fish and shrimp. Every time at sunset, the fishing boats that come back late stop on the shore, and the fishermen who have worked all day happily count their labor results. This situation continued until the middle of last century. With the development of social economy, the rivers in Daliang North District and Xinjiao District are blocked, the water flow slows down and the water surface becomes shallower and narrower. However, at that time, aquatic products were still very rich. In the sixties and seventies, fishermen all caught fish and shrimp.

During the period of the Republic of China, due to the great changes in the scenery and landforms inside and outside the county, some people proposed to re-evaluate the Eight Scenes of Fengcheng. Because "Lujing Rongyin", "Liubo Yuyan" and "Jianjiang Race" have lost their former elegance, they deleted them and added "Cotton Tree", "Song Wanhe Dance" and "Tea Steps Make Spring" again.
At present, there are many high-rise villas in Daliang North District, but during the Republic of China, the river was gurgling and the mulberry fields were boundless. In spring, the fresh breath reaches the brow. This is "tea steps give birth to spring". With the change of agricultural structure in Shunde, the tea port area changed from mulberry field to sugarcane field and later to vegetable garden. In the 1990s, with the advancement of urbanization, Fengcheng gradually expanded and the vegetable garden finally disappeared.
It can be seen from the changes of the eight scenic spots in Fengcheng that Shunde is becoming more and more urbanized due to the development of society. At the same time, we have to sacrifice something with Shunde characteristics, and the taste of the former water town is gradually disappearing. Mulberry fish ponds and vegetable gardens are hard to see. Do you want to visit? Let's travel to some farms. Unfortunately, things that used to be common to Shunde have become so few today. However, this is very optimistic about the economic development of Shunde farm.
Reform and opening up have brought us a comfortable and prosperous life. The shabby path in the past suddenly turned into a wide avenue. The endless vegetable fields in the past have now become countless luxury houses ... Of course, we should be grateful for this, but we have to pay a price for it. The rapid development of industry has brought environmental pollution; With the rapid development of commerce, a large number of cultivated land has been requisitioned, and high-rise buildings and bustling business districts have sprung up. The impact of foreign culture is gradually changing our thinking, and the negative problems such as the decline of traditional culture in our hearts are not small.
However, in the past ten years, the industry and commerce of Shunde cities have risen rapidly, the city appearance has undergone tremendous changes and the living standards have been greatly improved. I am proud that I am from Shunde.
