Materials required for applying for registration of German trademarks

The applicant shall provide the following materials:

1) Name and address of the enterprise (in Chinese and English);

2) information such as the international classification of goods/services and the list of designated goods/services;

3) a copy of the business license;

4) 5 copies of trademark pattern, with clear requirements and good paper quality. If it is a color trademark, 1 black-and-white manuscript and 5 color manuscripts shall be submitted;

the specification shall not be less than 5cm×5cm, and the maximum shall not exceed 1cm×2cm；;

5) power of attorney (provided by our company but signed by the applicant).

German trademark registration fee

Step 1: Search (optional nature)

Search in one category: 45 USD for logo without pattern; $55 for logo with pattern

Additional per category: $25 for logo without pattern; $3 for logo with pattern

Step 2: Apply for registration of the first three categories for $1,1; Additional USD 45 for each category

Step 3: Apply for USD 45 for the first three categories of the certificate; Additional USD 25 per category

Payment time and procedure for German trademark registration

Remarks

(1) The above fees have included the service fees, government fees and taxes of our company, but not the express delivery fees or notarization fees of documents.

(2) The above fees do not include review and objection fees. If the trademark application is objected by others after the preliminary examination and announcement, or if the trademark application is rejected, there will be a certain fee, which will be agreed according to the specific situation.

(3) The above fees do not include translation fees, if necessary.

(4) If the customer needs to be expedited, an additional fee of $5 will be charged.
